your brain is a terrible thing to waste.
surely, depay has done better than hidden hazard this season.

the belgian manager said hazard was his worst player during the international break....

'He (Hazard) was the worst tonight.'

jose mourinho also said....

"If you are the best in the league, I think it should be a good responsibility to have a similar season than in the previous season.
You have players who have fantastic seasons and fantastic moments and the next season do not have the same. If you ask me, 'Will I accept this and wait calmly for the performance level to be back? No."

i really dunno why he still makes himself available for the shitty 3 lions. after being marginalised to massage the egos of useless players like lampard, gerrard, barry, scott parker, etc in the midfield.....carrick should just retire from international games. the 3 lions do not deserve carrick at all. he should just concentrate on his man utd career. he has won the most meaningful titles of all english midfielders.

united played a big team - spurs!
chances would always be fewer. chelsea played a team that has never featured in a champions league competition and yet montero was the star of the match. hazard was nowhere to be found yet again. eden hazard is a fraud and he will never win a balon d'or.

Now what about the Swansea game m0f0, what happened to your dedebt? You bufoons should stop your dindinrin talks on depay, Hazard's achievement over the years is what depay will quit football for when achieved.

its because he wants the best from him. If you read his comment further, he said the whole team performed below par including Fellaini.
They played a game three days ago before that match what did you expect, most of these Belgian players are regular starters in their respective clubs, they're trying to play safe. They know the goal will definitely come since it's Cyprus they are up against.

It is on record that Henry was happy with Zidanes retirement after Euro 2004. Henry felt Zidane slowed the game down and with Zidane out of the way, he would profit from rapid counterattacking footie he was used to at Arsenal. After struggling in qualifying, Domenech had to go beg Zidane to return to the fold, the rest is history.

I have watched all International tournaments since Henry's debut. He has not done anything outstanding on the International stage, he simply rode the coattails of his teammates. Christophe Dugarry did more for France than Henry, that's how unremarkable his international career was.

I would take DD over Henry in any big game, however I also consider Henry to be the most outstanding striker in EPL history. It's a hard one to call. I would choose Henry to prosecute a season and use DD for the big games if given the choice.

Exact same point i made.
Henry had the superior talent and over the course of a whole season he gets the nod, but if it is a single game for all the marbles it has to be DD.

the most consistent player over the season should take the nod then not a striker who drinks alomo bitters before entering the pitch and gives a flash-in-the-pan performance. henry is miles better than DD. how many league goals did DD score against man utd in his 9 seasons in the premier league? how many did henry?

Injuries have been a unfair to Rooney. It is usually so for players who play at high tempo with energy. The reason he had bad injuries when he was young.

His injury against Chelsea in 2006 ruled him out for 6 weeks, which meant he ought not to return to football until quarter or semi finals of the world cup. But England couldn't do without him so they packaged him into the squad.

He also never recovered from the injury he suffered in Munich in 2010, and was said to have aggravated it playing games half fit for Man United in the push for a fourth successive EPL title.

In Euro 2012 he was suspended in the first two matches.

I am not disputing the fact that Rooney had injuries that prevented him from performing at major tournaments. Owen also had injury problems that prevented him from performing at major tournaments as well.

Owen had injury problem that limited his participation during the qualifying stage for Euro 2002 and this also affected his performance during the tournament.

He also broke his metatarsal bone in Dec 2005 that kept him out for six months undergoing about three surgeries in the process. He rushed himself back to compete in 2006 world cup. He damaged anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in one of the group stage matches that kept him out from active football till April 2007 (almost a year). That is about a year and a half injury crisis which derailed his playing career.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/5015634/Michael-Owen-regrets-making-comeback-at-2006-World-Cup-finals.html

As for using two strikers, I don't think you watched England. In Euro 2012 Carol was the most advanced striker with Welbeck as a support. I also remember Defoe played more advanced than Rooney in the past. Although in 2010 world cup, Rooney was used as a real co-striker by Capello, instead of the usual support striker.

As for Euro 2012, again I almost was asking if Rooney was a midfielder on his return.

It's always two strikers with fluidity. One can be advanced at a point while at another time the other may be advanced. They play with fluidity depending on who is where at the time they were to score. Are you telling me that if they launch a counter and Welbeck was the first to get to a position of scoring, he will have to wait for Carol to get there to pass the ball to him score? They always have equal opportunity to score.

What of the time when Owen and Shearer were strike partner and later when it was Owen - Crouch?

In two strikers tadem, it is always defined who is to play deeper. The one playing deeper is a second striker and a number 10. It doesn't however mean there won't be moments when the number 10 could be higher up the pitch.

I have read where it was stated Rooney played far deeper behind Owen. They had 15 goals together with Rooney scoring 7 and Owen 8.

Parrotibaba, see below. I told you Rooney started playing for us from the wing when he first arrived but you always laughed at me.
...........

Manchester United
For the 2005-06 season, Rooney initially started playing in wider positions than his more favoured central role. Eventually, after Manchester United's poor run of form early in the season, Sir Alex Ferguson moved him back to his stronger position, playing behind Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy as a second striker. He got his first professional Winners Medal in the 2006 English League Cup. He was also named Man of the Match in the League Cup final against Wigan Athletic, after scoring two goals in the final (a 4-0 victory for United), en route to winning his first senior medal.

That is true. Euro 2000 against Italy.
I already mentioned the UEFA Final against Gala in which Hagi got a red card early in extra time.

When you play about 10 finals without scoring a goal it is no fluke but a pattern. When you score goals in about 7 finals too it is no fluke but a pattern.

"He's got that speed, that power, he's got that youth in him so he'll surprise a lot of defenders because they don't know him," Saha said.

"It's a great asset for Manchester United and that's what they needed because up front they lack speed sometimes.

"In France we call him the next Thierry Henry because he can play left or right and he's got a great ability with the ball.

"He can take on three, four players with ease, there is no problem. At the same time, the new generation have no fear.

"He's got such an ability that he can win trophies for Manchester United I believe that, but I don't want to put too much pressure on him."http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/9982457/manchester-united-striker-anthony-martial-is-the-next-thierry-henry-says-louis-saha#page-nav

It meant you read my posts upside down.

I said he mainly played number 10 most of his career, and also played in the wing and midfield. But when I said he played on the wing on his arrival, you said it was a lie.

Go and search through my posts, search for a thousand year, you will never see where I said Rooney played in the wing mainly.
