The parents of these two boys forgave their sons for trying to kill them. I'm speechless...

Two boys in Atlanta, Cameron Ervin, 17, and his 22-year-old brother, Christopher tried to kill their parents.

They drugged their parents food, and while the sons taught the parents were asleep, they beat their mother, stabbed their father and hit him on the head with a short gun. The boys also tried to burn their family house to cover up the crime.

The mother was able to call 911 and were rescued by the police.

The brothers are charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault and first-degree arson. Both will be tried as adults and could face as many as 60 years in prison if they are convicted.

The parents say, they forgive their sons, because, it was just one bad moment and totally out of character for them as they have never been violent before.

As a parent you can only do so much for your children REMEMBER children are human beings with a will of their own regardless of how well or right you raise them.

In other words, they have the power of choice like everyone else and they will choose to either do right or wrong. You are familiar with the Cain & Abel story aren't you?

Do you think Adam & Eve didn't raise both boys well? My folks raised me well and in the right path like the bible says, I knew the 10 commandments at an early age but when I decided to have sex none of that mattered.

Oga you can only do so much in nurturing and training them. They decide what to do with that training. Believe it or not peers and media have more influence on kids than their parents. You can't shut them out from the world, you can only pray that that they are able to distinguish between the right and wrong influence as they grow older.

Look at the Menendez brothers case. Their parents were very wealthy. Their father was very strict and their mother was loving which created some form of balance in their upbringing. Their father doesn't want them to be spoilt so he rationed their allowances and made them take summer jobs. One day they got tired of living on their daddy's meagre allowance. They wanted their inheritance and to start living the big life but they can't do that while their parents were still alive. Long story short, they murdered their parents in cold blood (Google Eric and Lyle Menendez). Donald Trump raised his children the exact way and they turned out fine.
