I made payment for some items to jumia since on 28/09/2015 only for them to tell today that my order has been cancelled .....am waiting for their reply for the reason why my order was canceled
Re: See What Jumia Did by RobinHez(m): 6:57pm On Oct 01, 2015
There could be 2 possible reasons..

1. Your order wasn't confirmed
2. You chose 'pay by bank transfer' and you didn't pay during the stipulated '2-days' period.

The third one which I don't think applies here is if they failed at multiple attempts in delivering the goods to you.

So what do you think went wrong? And would you like to place the order again? Let Adah96 (a jumia consultant on NL) help you procure the products, saving you the stress!
She's waiting!

Jumia is now becoming something else. You will pay for a product (i.e phone) with certain specs and Jumia will send similar one with lesser price and specifications.
It happened to me and a friend recently. As at now, Jumia is yet to refund my money.
Shine your eyes, always insist on pay on delivery and check the product well before making payment.

That is done after seeking the consent of the customer through a phone call...

Are you sure none of you answered a call from them? You know how those CC used to talk like they don't shit grin

If the payment was not confirmed I don't think their CC will call me to confirmed what I ordered.

What I bought is up to 70k... This is not a joking matter ooo

Na...its not like that!

They call you to 'confirm' the order you place not to confirm the payment. This is done to avoid 'robots' making orders! wink

Re: See What Jumia Did by onajo2000(m): 11:43am On Oct 02, 2015
The annoying part is that after receiving my email to them and even acknowledge the mail since yesterday nothing has been done to say their part of the cancellation

In few selected towns! but for Konga POD is nationwide that is why I prefer Konga.

I ordered a laptop battery for pickup at their surulere branch. I ordered a 8800mAh while they offered a 5200mAh which i rejected. It seems the seller brought the wrong one. I never knew they didn't have all the products in their stock.
Re: See What Jumia Did by onajo2000(m): 11:45pm On Oct 02, 2015
From their mail and call today it seems the problem is from the seller and time of delivery, so they have no other option than to cancelled the order.
Am waiting for my money to be returned back to my account within 3-5 working days
Re: See What Jumia Did by onajo2000(m): 11:47pm On Oct 02, 2015
I only ordered one of the previous items on POD, if they bring it fine if they don't no problem again

Typical naija as usual we dont look for detail whenever we see eyes catching thing(things we love)(it happened to me once)

Here is the catch both Jumia n Konga always give info about suppliers of the particular item you want or do you think its coincidence seeing like 10 diff prices for a particular item.

What they have in store at present and they can vouch for is always with a tag ''sold by jumia or sold by konga''

So always us POD, its safe
you can use ATM on POD
