Guys u need to be clear about something. Some networks use up the number of attempts to unlock the modem before making the modems available for sale. This way the modems are permanently locked to the network and cannot be unlocked. Recently bought an airtel modem and discovered this

good day everyone. i just stumbled upon this post. i just bought an MTN F@stlink modem E3531, and discovered that it has no software and no drivers also, therefore cant be detected by the serial bus. but when i plugged it, it launches my default browser and opens a dashboard-like modem page from where i make my connections from. i am seriously confused, though it cool and seems faster with every other contents as messaging, bundle bal, airtime etc. i just noticed that i cant use my MTN SIMPLE SERVER on it. yet when i use another modem it works. Please i need a possible explanation then a solution to this. Thank you in advance.

I gave it to an expert nd he did d same tin i did:generate code nd insert anoda network sim nd it showd insert code nd unlocked.
Does it mean that u wil put a used difrent network sim or a virgin difrent network sim?In my case i inserted a used diffrent network sim.
