Improvements are needed, no doubt. Some players are refusing to play for Oliseh, that could be understood. I suggest that these players should be dropped as quickly as possible. For their replacements, the local league can give us a starting eleven. As for the issue between Enyeama and Coach Oliseh, Enyeama should have been humble rather than take such a hasty decision to retire. That one was stripped from one's captainship and may be mistreated is not enough to challenge a constituted authority. A coach of a team must be obeyed and if Oliseh did not stand by his decision, another person will challenge him. The team played as expected given what happened. But they can improve with next match. Cameroon come on! Go Super Eagles!

If it was Mikel he sent away from the team.. I guess Nigerians would have complained less.. because he even acts like weather.
Enyeama that we never doubted his capability. .

Just imagine the crowd viewing this thread..we need to go back to the drawing board asap..yeah its just a friendly en no much fuss but losing to Congo is still unacceptable by naija standards..I've always believed the sacking of keshi was a knee jerk reaction..guess I'm justified now...dude hasn't won a game in 270mins of football.. undecided
If you think it's only friendly and means nothing, then watch out for next FIFA's national team rating.

Do you know why foreign countries like Brazil, England, Germany, France, etc take international friendlies serious? It's for the rating of their teams.

The bitter truth is that Oliseh don Bleep up. I was one of his fans, but his expression of immaturity and arrogance has turned me off.

All the same, I wish him well.

Mikel, Moses, Ighalo, must improve for Nigeria Sunday Oliseh is yet to win as the national coach!! That defense with albinos was rubbish and lastly I don't think Nigeria has any technical crew in that team. Sunday was so clueless.. At a time we were playing with 3 STRIKERS!!!

I wonder the kind of kids we raise these days. Kids who can be civil in a public discourse or forum. I shake my head.

Please where are the Odegbami's, Okochas, Kanus of this world. The Super Eagles team is like a barrack. George Weah couldn't take Liberia to the world cup. That should tell you that it's a team sport and not a one man show

You don't get it, do you? We respect the team because of the players. We love the team because we love the way the players are playing. Without the players, there would be no team. So, treat the players right, so they would have enough confidence to give us a good performance, and our respect for the team would grow. The team is never bigger than the players.

National team coaches these days use their best performing players as their national team captains and not the longest serving players or the ones with the most caps. So, Oliseh is not out of order. As for the results, he will take responsibility whether good or bad. And to the lady(or man) shouting he will be sacked, he knows because there two types of coaches: those who are sacked and those waiting to be sacked. But I can tell you one thing, Oliseh won't be sacked even if he doesn't qualify Eagles for the Afcon

Politics is not everything. Before Nigeria will get another keeper like Vincent,is going to be very hard. Enyama is like engine block of super eagles.someone that have served thois country for so long, is been treated like an immigrant. Oliseh, if u know what's good for nigerians and your career as a coach,go and reconcile with him, if possible please beg hi come back, to avoid more evil daysm

Oliseh to last till december with odds 35.00

Actually they do have quality players but no matter what happens you just keep seeing thesame players being recycled for reasons best known to the people in Charge. Its all about the Benjamins
honestly speaking I don't think they are many out there cos individually they don't want to improve that's why most of them are benchwarmers or prefer to move to obscure leagues for quick cash. Take imoh ezekiel for instance who was doing very well at liege but fled to the middle east just at the slightest chance he got. Where has his career gone since then. Most of the players only care about the money that's why they don't care to improve.

Vincent Enyeama is the longest serving and the best player in the team. Do not disgrace urself by trying to argue it.
