Na wa o!

I can't help but to keep playing the AC over and over again in my head perhaps searching deep within me if I think I did well enough to be invited for medicals. I even try to recall my reactions and body languages during the exercises. Sometimes I ask myself if I am not getting too obsessed with this job. NLNG would be doing us so much good if it informed us of our performances this coming week. I strongly believe a good number of us would have moved on with their lives now if the result had been communicated long ago. For sure after this job, successful or not, I will take sometime off from applying for any jobs so as to psychologically recuperate.

PS: this is me, someone who already has a job, has been travelling around the world, and is supposedly very busy...I wonder what those who don't have jobs would be going through. embarassed

I think it's easier for those without jobs really cos it's all or nothing. unlike those with jobs having to face a lot of mind games.....I play the AC in my head too awake or asleep.

my point exactly....guys without a job can only hope for the best till the result comes out.....guys with a job however have the dilemma of focusing at work to better themselves there (which of course they r not enjoying, if not they wouldn't be anxious for this) and looking for alternative jobs (y look when NLNG could call soon).
I think I'm totally confused reading myself too

There are always plenty sides to a story, and it'll be great for the company if they hire people who are capable of seeing the whole picture at first try. It'll be good if a few more see the full picture once guided a bit, but it will be pitiful if most of the hired ones stick to a single story albeit a privileged one; very pitiful.

The applicants with no employment have the ill luck of probably solely banking on this recruitment exercise, especially those who resigned jobs to go on masters, high risk venture there.

The applicants in paid employment have to deal with the drudgery of probably waking up to an unhappy place of work daily.

Both scenarios surely not ideal and doesn't take away from the pains of both. I have been in both scenarios and truly know it's better being in paid employment whilst waiting.

Please, if you can, kindly develop the ability to see from another point of view. It will be beneficial ultimately.

ON POINT!

'The applicants in paid employment have to deal with the drudgery of probably waking up to an unhappy place of work daily.'

This is the story of my life that God Almighty in His infinite mercies is about to change permanently for good in a bit. Add to this, the fact that I have to commute one and a half hours to the miserable office and another one and a half hours back every freaking day!

I was once unemployed and I tell you the pressure of expecting feedback from employers then was much easier for me to bear than now.

Everyone now thinks that NLNG is the place to wake up happy. My brothers and sisters in the LORD. A lot of you will still wake up in LNG unhappy just after few months of working there. Just as you were happy in the few months of your old Job and got dissatisfied along the way, the same thing will still be replicated here. Until you reach the point of self enlightenment where you get to understand that being happy is a choice you have to make irrespective of circumstance.

On another Note
There might be a difference between waking up unhappy on a 2ft 6inches single spring bed and waking up unhappy on a 6ft double king size bed.
Which bed do you want to wake up unhappy on? The choice is yours. Make it.

The NLNG wait can turn you into many things. Jesu!!!!!! After the reggae, u know what to do..........

Please guys keep it real. I don't think being unemployed will in anyway make things easier while we wait. I will love to work in NLNG for sure but then if I don't there are other great companies around. Abeg when will the blues finally be played.
