Dude. They only go out to recruit members. Do you know how many missionaries we have? Every Christian should preach Jesus to the unsaved but not recruit members. As a christian I can preach to a muslim and tell him to join the CAC or wherever the undiluted word of God is preached but the JW will tell non-believer to come to JW or go and sleep in hell. . Good question. Let's start like this. The command to pay tithe was initially given to the Israelites. The reason was because God made an arrangement that the priests and levites were to serve Him exclusively in His temple, without doing any kind of work. They were not even expected to have an inheritance in the land. Their only means of survival was the arrangement for all the Israelites to be giving them a tenth (tithe) of their produce (Numbers 18: 20-32). However, in later times, there was no evidence that first century christians paid tithe, and rightly so because that prieslty arrangement was no longer in operation. For example, the apostle Paul, who was a full time missionary never depended on tithe. Infact he worked to earn money for himself( Acts 18:3). So, while the bible does not outrightly condemn paying tithe, it is not an obligation for christians today. The bible does encourage us to give cheerfully (2Cor 9:7). So as JWs we believe in willing and voluntary contributions for the furtherance of God's work.

As for the issue raised of witnesses not being allowed to marry non-witnesses: We don't have any law stating that. If one of Jehovah's Witnesses decide to marry someone who isn't a witness, he doesn't get kicked out as people claim. It's between you and your conscience. But when the issues typical of a couple having different religious beliefs kick in, you have yourself to blame.
I personally couldn't imagine myself marrying someone who at this point, will be preparing for Christmas, when i definitely don't believe in the celebration. There are so many issues that might arise. That's just analyzing it without the scriptural backup that says "marry only in the lord".
I'm happily married to someone who shares same belief as i do. If others choose otherwise, its their cup of tea. Not a crime punishable as believed by many

Jesus recruited members if you are too deluded to know. In a world where all were Jews he recruited 12 to help him in his work.

But now in a world where 95 per cent have heard about christ and where christianity is living not a practice just like obeying the government is part of our lives not what you can choose to do, JW's are recruiting members.


JWs are so dumb they don't believe they are another branch of a different interpretation of the bible. JWs are the wordly version of God worshipping. No Spiritual inspiration. Just reading and trying to comprehend the mysteries of God with their tiny heads.

They have their internal issues like every other religious body. They are dogged and fanatical about their doctrines even though majority of them do not practice what they preach. their beliefs and doctrine is narrow minded.

For instance they believe JW is the only true religion and pretty sure if God`s Kingdom should come today only the 8 Million JWs in the world as mentioned by the OP if found not wanting will inherit the earth out of which the remnants of the 144,000 who will rule as kings and priest with Christ will be taken from. Now, look around the world and think of other fantastic people who belongs to other religious body,what will be their fate?

Would they be condemn to destruction? Or they will be assimilated and then re-thought the doctrine of the JWs?

Just as Jesus himself said, "it does not belong to us to know the things God has put in his own jurisdiction" (act 2:7), this include those who are to gain everlasting life, so we can't judge. However, according to John 17:3, acurate knowledge about God and Jesus is a pre-requisite for entering God's kingdom and we are sure we have this, hence majority of the 8 million witnesses are qualified. Only those who are chaffs hidden between grains, whose deeds does not portray them as true JWs will not have this opportunity and the interesting things is that, when these ones are discovered we eject them from among us. We also belief the words of John 5:29 that there will be ressurection of the righteous and unrighteous, hence we won't be surprised if not only JWs are present in God's kingdom. Besides who are we to question what God choose to do, all our concern is to be in that kingdom togethert with those who strictly adhere to our bible standards.
