I have done and closed many deals with him and I didnt think he was going to scam anyone. He sounded real, I mean for me to have entrusted him upto my ebay password and cash showed I had great confidence in him. Whatever it was, it was the same thing that pulled so many people towards him and got them depositing into his account.

In the course of doing business with him, I realised on thing though, Lagtech is NOT a business man and it's even worse because he was naive as to dealing with Nigerians in an online business capacity. I remember I told him this a number of times and at some point I became his unpaid consultant. I was seeing the way he was handling the surge of customers and I knew for sure he would have issues but truth be told, I never forsaw it this big.

He had/has good intentions and that's why till today I still don't know how to "deal" with this problem on this thread. He seems to be protecting his shipper who he claims is responsible for his travails. I have an idea how these shippers behave plus our customs back home, both combined can wreck an honest business man.

Firstly, Lagtech must put all these information to the public. His customers need to know what's going on. They will shout but someone amongst the crowd can carry the solution but until the problem is known, how would it be solved?

Secondly, Jimmy should be "arrested" online and made to take responsibility too. He is a member of this forum and should have known things too. From speaking with him in time past, I figure he is an older adult and should have asked questions too.

Thirdly, that account we paid into doesn't belong to Lagtech but whoever runs that account should be "arrested" too. It's very possible, highly possible he duped Lagtech too and he is still covering up for him. If we could get to that account owner it could open up a lot of things.

To get back your money or item, nairalanders should work offline. Staying online to listen/read lagtech's boring epistles will just give you unnecessary anger and raise your blood pressure. Two- four of his customers should meet and strategise on a way to deal with this offline.

I would advice you make a list .

full list of every body you owe here with how much owed.

then make another list I would chose to call payment list.


you can chose to start from the smallest amount owed by you to the person you are oweing the highest or vice versa.


then settle everybody one after the other per week...

take one full week and settle one person


that would be better and easy way to pay out this debt.


please .... we are tired of in ending promises.
