Marvel and Fox are teaming up on two Tv shows no one really cares about, Legion and Hellfire Club. Legion is the demented son of Prof X. They don't call him legion for nothing, guy has got multiple personalities, all powerful enough to rule the world, only problem is he's mad. Hellfire Club; those assholes in X-men: First Class- Shaw, Emma Frost, Azazel etc who, also want to rule the world hehe. But who cares right all the people want is F4, Kang, Silver Surfer, Doom, Korvac, Skrulls, we want them back at Marvel, like Spidey, give the people what they want na! Well at least we know what to pray for at Shiloh '15. Fada lawd...

Now for the big one...
http://variety.com/2015/film/news/mark-ruffalo-thor-ragnarok-hulk-1201619246/

This has been rumoured for some time but if variety is reporting then it's almost official. But what will the Hulk be doing in Thor: Ragnorok? And how on earth are they gonna get him to space? Well I'm just glad that Thor and Hulk will be fighting together, just like old times. If things are so bad on Asgard that Thor needs Hulk's help then this may be the best Thor movie yet. Just don't bring Jane Foster into this Marvel, please! No Jane, no naked Scandinavian professor, no interns and no physics! Just good ol' fashioned Thor in Asgard/Space thank you very much

If they are bringing Hulk, I guess they will transport him like the way they brought Jane Foster to Asgard.

Or Loki plays one of his tricks.

I hate it because its like a corruption of Hulk just like Jane Foster is like a misfit to Thor. I prefer having whole new heroes instead of trying to do gender parity. I mean, who would like Black Widower or Iron Woman? Miss America (instead of Captain America).

Black Widower lmaoo grin
I get that but She-hulk is one of the better examples. The fans really love her so she'll eventually get her own movie. I actually prefer it when they create fresh heroes instead of bending an existing one or using legacy characters but in the end it's about how good the story is. She-hulk for instance, she's Bruce Banner's cousin, sexy lawyer, dying all of a sudden and only Banner can save her with his blood, only problem is there's a risk he might transfer the " Hulk Disease" to her in the process. Given a choice between that and watching her die, he takes the chance and she lives, but becomes she-hulk. Only she's intelligent all the time unlike hulk, just green all the time too, and sexy, and still a lawyer....like that it's actually not a bad story so they get a pass and she gets to be a popular hero. Spider-gwen is another example. I don't know how she got so popular, think she's the most popular behind Miss Marvel. Beats me, strange world

That's just sick and its gender bias too.

Why can't dey do Mr Dark Phoenix or Mr Storm? Probably they will find a she-Thanos soon?

Mehn bros the thing fear me oo. One yeye storyline like that, that radioactive spider bit her too but she didn't know abi she knew but when she died she wasn't really dead and resurrected, then she gets powers....see just forget. I think they like to mess with us, shake things up a little bit to keep things from getting stale, tweak the popular characters to see what works and what doesn't. If the fans love it, then the change stays, becomes canon and we have a new superhero on our hands, or a new version of an old hero, like Spider-gwen. Her costume is dope sha so she gets a pass in my book, don't really care. Too many spider people these days,2 spider men i know of -miles morales & peter parker, 3 spider women i think- spider gwen, jessica drew and Mary jane abi it's another one, not to talk of the different venoms....they should just not touch my favorite heroes. They recently changed hulk to one asian kid, amadeus cho, i hope it's just experimentation and it's not permanent cos Hulk is one of my favorites.
In a way it makes sense, in a little way; i mean in 1960 Iron Man was Stark and in 2015 he's still Stark? Is he immortal or what? Makes sense for the person to die and pass his legacy and suit to someone else. Sometimes they try to create useless storylines to explain how the same person kept the title and it sucks
Na Thanos won't change, he's the ugly one and female Thanos will be uglier cheesy

Well, Stark suppose to be Stark. At least Superman is Kal-El not Mag-El.

Iron Fist is also getting his own Netflix series, then they'll end it with Defenders miniseries. This is basically a grittier version of the Avengers. I really like the official trailer, 'cause it really sets the tone of the series. I hope they've learnt from the mistakes of Daredevil.

Finally finished the pilot, definitely quieter than Daredevil's pilot - less action, but the the end packs a mean punch, some may say JJ has a slow start, but the last 8 minutes I was on the edge of my seat*, then the end...Chei! I was like let's finish the person, this shtako is personal. We now know just how cruel the villain is...Oya, I'm about to lose the next hours of my life. Looks like I'm in for a dark bumpy ride.

*literally, I was watching this on the train and I arrived at my stop ,that's why I know the exact time left...
Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by moneyallowed(m): 12:39am On Nov 23, 2015
Well... Wow. I feel like dancing, just finished the entire season 1 of Jessica Jones! Watched the whole thing start to finish and I wouldn't recommend bingeing it. I rushed through the season 1 of DD so I thought I'd do the same for JJ cos they're both Netflix shows right? Well wrong. Bad idea
Two reasons for this. One JJ is slow, I mean the series takes it's bloody time to grab you. Episode 1 was nice, 2 OK, 3 alright...like that. By episode four I was getting tired, where is the thriller we were promised? I almost gave up and thank God I didn't. The other thing is the show is pretty dark and heavy, I mean some psycho shit. 13 hours of psycho shit is not healthy. So if you intend to view the while thing in one sitting, things might get rough. Maybe watch episodes 1-4, then chill cos things only get better from there
JJ is great. Solid story, great acting, great. Watching it made me realise how lame some scenes in DD were. Everything in this show is consistent. Jessica killed it, Luke Cage killed it, Kilgrave killed it, Trish killed it....you get the idea, murder. Shit felt real, like no superhero show but real life. Jessica's not a princess, Kilgrave is not a demon, just people.
Really impressed, I want another season, want more Alias Investigations. One word... Kilgrave. Sick bastard. I wonder what kinda villain they'll bring for the Defenders to take down cos Kilgrave and Fisk were top notch villains. The bad guy of the Defenders has to be really bad gaan
I prefer JJ season 1 to DD, was more personal and relatable. Pissed cos a little more and this show coulda been the best series of the year. It had everything, just fell short and I don't know how but they really tried. Maybe the action was lacking a bit, and the slow pace I mentioned, it can get boring ish. Small matter tho, great show, loved it and you should watch it. Just don't watch it with your parents

That's the thing some folks don't understand, JJ is certainly the darkest MCU entry so far, some folks only equate extreme violence & nudity with dark, not as bone crunching when compared to DD, but it was certainly very real. I never thought I'd ever loathe a character played by Tennanty Goodness (that's David Tennant to the rest of the world & the 10th Doctor to Whovians ie Doctor Who fans). Kilgrave is certainly the darkest villain, he just does things simply because he can, then he justifies it in his head and lays blame elsewhere, especially since he gets people to do the dirty work. See how he & Jessica remembered those 18 seconds very differently.

Now, JJ was certainly slow, but it did have a few things going on for it, the actors gave a top notch performance, even the annoying ones - Robyn, you've no idea how many times I wanted to kill you. Reuben, I'm sure you thought you were adorable, but you're kinda creepy. Another thing was relationships between the characters. Trish & Jessica had such a strong sibling bond, despite how much Jessica tried to break it. The handling of being a survivor of traumatic events, usually due to Kilgrave's control. They did not sugarcoat it at all. Yes, talking about it helped, but it didn't magically solve it.

The before and after effects of Kilgrave is really a sight to behold. Look at Simpson, look at Trish, look at Hope, look at Malcolm, geez look at the guy whose coat he took. Dude messed up Jessica so bad, she turned from a slacker who liked to drink to someone who had to drink to drown her guilt and nightmares. Even Hogarth, the HBIC even got dropped a peg or two, although that woman is still as calculating as ever.

In fact JJ can be seen as a slow burn noir drama that has superheroes in it. Yes, it was a tad bit odd that a show that had two humans with superhuman strength didn't have much fighting in it, and that most of the fights consisted of throwing folks like frisbees...But, it certainly had its really violent moments. DD might beat you into a pulp, that has to live on a liquid diet or life support or through rigorous physical therapy, but Kilgrave would make you kill yourself or get someone else to kill you, while both of you're trying your hardest not to do so. Or he could just tell you to stand over there forever. Even if you actually survived an encounter with him, you're still left with the mental trauma, that maybe you'd start to think you were better off dead.

Well said. JJ I can recommend to people that don't ordinarily like superhero shows. Kilgrave is probably the most vile villain so far, nothing redemptive or intriguing just sick sick sick. Even Fisk had my empathy but The Purple Man... Just wanted to see him burn. I like so many things from the show, like how there almost no cliffhangers, takes a lot for a drama to be interesting without relying on that. The entire supporting cast, awesome. No one dimensional characters, everyone has depth and back story. I really wished they had fixed the action and pacing issues cos this show would have been a classic. Now it's just great
I want to see Luke Cage now, if DD was the action fest and JJ the thriller.....curious to see what he's about. It'll be set in Harlem so maybe the first Mcu all black movie. Very excited since I heard a lot of my fav black actors are gonna be in it, like Remy Denton from House of Cards. I'm sure the producers of that show will look at DD/JJ and say we have to raise the bar. Both shows felt unique and special and if they can make Luke Cage and Iron Fist even half that, the Netflix corner of the Mcu will be the best.

Sorry about the spoilers, really tried to avoid that.
There are not many DD easter eggs since she's in a different part of new York not hell's kitchen but the some cops from DD make an appearance, the hospital in DD is the same, Madame Gao's old heroin lab finds a new use. Oh and someone major from DD shows up in the last episode. Think this certain someone will be the one to unite all the Defenders

This is pretty much a Cap shii, damn, that last scene though.

Word! Cap is the focus which is important so it doesn't feel like an Avengers movie. That last scene broke my heart you can see that they're really reluctant to fight one another until their choices are narrowed down and they find themselves on different sides. They didn't even have to show Ant-Man, Vision or Spider-Man and I'm already hyped! Really glad the Bucky/Cap storyline is coming full circle.
Black Panther' costume tho, nailed it
