The phone is always displaying insufficient memory when updating Apps, on checking the memory size, i was shocked to discover it has 0.98GB phone Memory with 78MB free space. (Note, am not talking about RAM but phone internal memory which should have been 8GB or 16GB as the case may be).
Could this be factory error or as a result of corrupted memory sectors. Any suggestion is welcomed.

It's not strange. Tecno f7 have 4gig ROM, of which almost 3 gig is already occupied by the operating system. So you'll only be left with about 1gig or so for installation.
What you should do now is to clear the cache of all the installed apps so you can have more space.
If the phone is rooted, you can partition your external SD card and use Link2SD to move installed apps to memory card, but this may require some skills anyway.

The enbolded makes me laugh ha ha. U dey find 16gb Rom for tecno F7. The phone has only 4gb of internal memory, of which about 3 has been used by the os, so u are left with about 1gb. Ur best option is to root the phone and install link2sd

the best way is link2sd but u have to partition the memory ,the partition can be down in two way either using an HTC phone or a pc,I u should google how to partition memory card,if the memory is partioned u move all the files to sd card

this guy has given you the true picture bro. Phantom A+ is an old phone already but it's a good phone I must confessed coz I have used it before. Move all movable to sdcard. Don't install apps on the internal memory.
