It's like telling a 25year old child (whom you gave out for adoption at birth ) that you're are the parent when from his childhood to that point he knew just one one parent .

I think after the new birth, your earthly parents still remain your earthly parents and God your eternal Father.

Thank you. I hope am not bothering! How do i believe? Should i just say, " I believe in you Jesus, only you." Is that really all??

I remember some years back i said a prayer of salvation but nothing happened after. I was still the same. No strange peace filled my heart, nothing. I donk know how to pretend or 'form' when it comes to religion.

I've heard so many people say how they got saved after welcoming Christ into their lives but you know what their lives are anything but Christ-like just like mine. So...

Idk but lately the thoughts of God keep tumbling inside of me. Is that how God works? but i know am not saved(just realised this).

OH my dear brother, please Christianity isnt a religion. Salvation is by no man's power, but by the Power of God in our Lord Jesus Christ.
And you can have a PHD and still be uneducated. This life is more than Dx or Dy bla bla bla- knowledge of men. Thank God being 'learned' is not a criteria for Salvation!
