There's this chaotic terrorism that has been going on in the city of badagry and i think i can't endure it any longer. There's this set of killers called "1 million boys" they've successfully induced fear in the minds of the majority and ever since their inception, they've been busy visiting houses in the late hours of the night. All they do is kill, they ask you for a token e.g #30 if you're unfortunate not 2 possess that amount the moment they ask you, you get killed or they out of their cruel kindness, give u a lotta bruises you'll hardly get a redemption for. Their true identity is still anonymous and information conveyed by unfortunate victims of this cheer cruelity had it that, they're dressed in black and that they possess misterious charms and that virtually all of em are armed with matchets.

In my hood, you'll hardly see people at night, since the inception of there killers, it has become as silent as a graveyard. Just last week, in one of the invaded communities, the bread winner of a family was iced(killed) and his wife shot in the leg because they couldn't provide #25 that the blood thirsty miscreants requested for. A couple of weeks before, they sent a letter to the bale of our community that they'll attack us too soon. This, no doubt griped virtually everyone with fear and this ushered our community elder to holding a meeting and hiring more security personnels. Primarily, we had been thanking God 4 his protection over us and also pray that he protects us. Whe had been so happy about the fact that these guys had never visited us but tonight was an exception, just about 8:28pm, i was in the sitting room, going through some interesting topics on nairaland, my friend whom had just come back from work was sleeping, my younger brother was in the kitchen cooking and my mother, she had gone out. As i was reading, i quickly heard my neighbour call his family to order shouting whilst instructing them to get inside. I could hear people shouting and running helter skelter and then, i immediately jumped to my feet. I could hear neighbours' door being slammed and locked my y.brother quickly came out from the kitchen with fear written all over his face.
I woke my friend up"1 million boys don dey around" i stated and i could sense he almost jumped out of his skin. I stood vigilant and was scouting for refuge not knowing that my friend had gone to the bathroom, he was gonna make a way through the abestors to the ceiling. Just then, we heard him crash down, i and brother dashed 4 the bathroom. On getting there, i saw my friend on the floor, not only that, he had crashed the water closet. "one million boys don come o, everybody come outside" we heard the miscreants chant their slogan and tension was filled in the air, we could hear them hitting their matchets against walls and window.
I, gripped with fear quickly made a gesture with my hands towards the store room, signalling others to follow me. We entered the store room, fortunately enough, the abettors had not been fixed so we were gonna have 2 mount the ceiling. "thank God, mum's not at home, how's she gonna get up there? I asked myself. I was already up in the ceiling, i helped my brother up and my friend followed.
We were up the in the ceiling making our way through to the depth. Unfortunately, i stepped my right food on the an abestor and it crashed down on the sofa, fortunately, it didn't make an obvious sound. My friend scolded me silently lamenting that i had blown our cover but i ignored him and shuffled to a comfortable place in the ceiling where we could all sit down.
As we sat silently, expecting 1 millions boys to invade our house, we heard a neighbour open her door "aunty nurse, come out o! It's just the security guards" she cried out and aunty nurse gave a response portraying that she was relived. Whatever!!! I smiled a bit and i could hear my brother give a sigh of relief. So, it's just a deception. God punish the security guards! Couldn't they convey their message whatsoever in a less terrifying way? I thought out loud. So, the have used an hyperbolical means of portraying their messages, bleep them! Mum's gotta hear our about of literary unity of time, action and place drama.
As i write this piece, we're in the sitting room eating and crying for the loss, the shattered water closet and the broken ceiling. The government should pls do something about there guys, i won't be writing this had it been they came for real. Goverment! Pls do the needful, we sleep without rest of mind whilst leaving an eye open.

Update: the oros' are now out with their windy sounds, we're pretty relieved. But God is the ultimate saver.
Don't mind my typing errors, just that i'm currently angry.

I really feel the trauma you are facing thru in dt community. @Mustiboy, can we speak on the phone? I'm a journalist and I think I can help to draw govt attention to this ugly trend by doing a special report on it. Call me on 07037376342
