THE TEN NAIRA NOTE : The original copy of this photo of Fulani milk maids was taken by photographer John Hinde in the 1960s. It was later used as inspiration for the artwork of milk maids at the back of the N10 note. THE TWENTY NAIRA NOTE Ladi Kwali - a Northerner best known for her pot-making skills. She was awarded a Doctorate degree in 1963 for the heightened level of detail and skill she utilised while making her pots. She even received global recognition when she demonstrated her skills in the UK in 1961, and then France, Germany and the United States of America.
