@adibo. please can u shade more light on this referee report. From the advert our referees are expected to forward a report on us to the school before the application dateline. i want to know if anybody can be choosen as a referee and what do we do the referee form that we downloaded.

Normally, ur former lecturers should be your referee but others said it can be anyone. Nobody needs to forward any report, just download it and get three people to sign for you, then keep it till clearance time

You submitted May 13th as what exactly? Anyway, if it is an error of consequence, all you need to do is to get to uniben, it can be corrected over there

The referee form is of no consequence because you only submit it after admission during clearance, so referee form does not affect your admission prospect. Just get three people to sign for you.
What we did last year was to create a whatsapp group for all postgraduate applicants. I feel it will be very helpful if you guys do the same for this set. The admin should be someone who is always online. You can equally add me up on the group

Nearly all departments will write either department or central exam or both. I can't confirm for now which ur department will write, dats why I did not reply. My advice is for you to start reading because the exam can be quite technical, so just be studying

Generally, the range is between 100 to 150, except for few departments

A word of advice from my experience of the 2015/2016 set, I was the admin of the WhatsApp group, it was very difficult and there was always argument in the group because some members saw the need to post other information having nothing to do with uniben such as jokes and some other stuff which made others angry because they wanted only information pertaining to uniben in the group.
So, if you are creating a whatsapp group, it is better you guys create two different groups, one should be strictly for ONLY information concerning uniben, while the other group can be for both information and jokes. That's what I had to do at the end to solve the problem in our group. That way, those who want only information on uniben will join the first group while those who are more social and love a bit of jokes and other stuff will join both the first and second group. This will help prevent arguments, membership of any the groups will be voluntary. Note, we all have different mentalities, mindset and preferences. God bless you

I'm yetbto decide if to effect it before the application or after admission.
I feel that the discrepancy in name may cause confusion during screening for admission. At the same time I don't want to apply with my old surname and then start facing issues with regularizing my documents after admission.
What do you think please. And please adibo, do you know when the admission list will start coming out

1. How much was the total Tuition fee payable for LL.M (full time and part time) for 2015/16? 2. What is the timetable/lecture arrangement schedule for LL.M (full and part time) like, considering that Lawyers work? 3. Based on previous sessions, will there be entrance exam for LL.M applicants and if so, what is the likely question format?

Referee reports would be required during screening to the best of my knowledge. But mine has been signed. When taken to school wasn't collected

yeah have been told the referee form would be collected during clearance. Am taking about the report, kind of a letter of recommendation that our referees are to write directly to school. Has any of your referee done that?

@adibo please this is the part that talks about the referee report on the advert. our referees, aside from signing our reference form, are equally expected to forward a report to the school. what can u say about this. thanks
