Meanwhile, MTN Zone remains the best prepaid tariff plan for calls. Dial *135*1# to migrate to Zone, then dial *135*5# to turn on notification for 'lower rate.'

Hi jideSM I've been trying to subscribe for the 2k for 3.5gb plan.

I keep seeing "Y'ello your activation to 3.5GB all day plan has failed".

I have also sent both reset and dataoff to 131 which neither give reply or solution.

Note: I have been using this line for night plan for the past 1 year plus.

Could you please help out.

MTN JUST CLEARED MY NIGHT PLAN DATA BALANCE FOR THE NIGHT PLAN. AS AT THIS MORNING I HAVE 815MB ON MY NIGHT PLAN AND IT IS TO EXPIRE ON THE 29TH MAY. MY NUMBER IS 08062417052

please Jide tell me why I should not sue mtn for damages.i have about 2gb night plan today.all of a sudden it was cleared and then I was shocked. as I said let me quickly bundle.mind you I was on what sapp so you dont think I was doing a heavy data browsing.clearly seeing that I still v 16mb from the day.can you believe that mtn immediately collected 700 naira from my phone for nothing.with the 16mb very intact.i m so surprised these all happened within few minute and u could not bundle their bloody surprise bundle.please check all these jide and please do your best to help me.but I must confess that mtn is so bad in customer relationship and I will take it out on them very soon because I m piling up serious and major evidences against them.how can you put up a new policy or bundle, without creating a seamless way of getting the bundle, and then wipe out people's existing night plan, even deduct money for nothing with mb still available.tell me if you jide will be able to do this same thing for every nigeria who wants the 3.5gb.i m so angry with mtn.

I subd for all nigh data plan which will expire on first June. after browsing yesternight. I checked my data balance and it was remaining 2.5gb but after browsing tonight I noticed that my data has been wiped away. I am now having 0 mb night data and 51mb day.
This came as a shock to me cause am not really a heavy browser.
Now when I checked my phone data usage it shows that I used only 150mb yesterday and today. So how come Mtn wiped my data??

Rectify this issue ASAP

Hi JideSM...as at yesterday i had abt 4gb left of my night plan which is supposed to expire on 1st august....by ds morning i discovered that everythin had bn wiped without prior information...and now am trying to subscribe for the 3.5gb all day plan only for me to be told subscription failed....can u help me fix ds

@mtn nairaland agent(s)....mtn fraudulently wiped out data balances on two lines I had subscribed legally for. I had subscribed for the 4.5gb day/night plan and had valid subscription to last 30days. yesterday, however, to my utter annoyance and disappointment, I found that my data had all been taken away for no known reason even though it isn't a month yet. I want mtn to reinstate my data balances back inclusive of compensation for my losses due to inability to use data when I needed to. if in 24hours from now, nothing is done, I will have no choices left other than to make a formal report to NCC and escalate the matter. if you require more information, I will be obliged to supply them as necessary.

for those thinking that mtn 1.5gig for #1000 is better than
airtel 3gig for 1500# should think again. cos I used both
of them on my z30 BlackBerry and I found out that mtn
data burns faster then that of Airtel but the difference isnt
much. Still I was disappointed cos I tot mtn has best data
calculator, as most of u guys tot,cos that proved to be
wrong. I downloaded an audio on mtn at 15.38mb which I
used only 11-12mb on airtel. this is my experience. and
airtel has better and faster browsing.
And please is there any difference between subscribing on bb plan and buying data bundle on BlackBerry?

I currently have 1.9gb of my data plan. But am unable to browse with it. I have tried everything but I still can't browse, but if I sub to daily plan am able to browse.

Good evening. Please I cannot browse on my MTN sim even with PAYG charges. I have tried deactivating all current services if that is the cause but the response is that I'm not subscribed to any service.

It was indeed active that night even with 0.0mb but the second day at night, the balance was provided but I was being charged from my daily balance instead. pls help me look into this.

I have 22GB on outstanding in my night plan(the 4.5G night plan) but it has been wiped off. I don't think this is fair on customers like me that have been loyal to MTN from day1.


I have been on nightplan since 2014 and I have never missed a month's payment.
I also still have about 1gig left on the day part of the plan but I discovered once its 9pm I cant browse anymore. This is absolutely unfair

Kindly help me rectify this error. My number is 08033726739.

but I tested it by sending massage and I found that u charges 4 naira instead of 2 naira. so as a result I made up my mind that the plan is strictly for those in the compuses.
