the answer is in the first instruction which says you must read it carefully before you start. so, you are expected to finish reading te instruction before starting so you wont ever need number 9 before submiting

In my opinion, the lecturer actually got it wrong. It was going to be a smart way of saying answer question 1 & 2 only but it's not proper to include the instruction as part of the question. Would have made sense to me if question 1 is clearly typed out above before numbering the other questions. Just thinking . . .

As simple as it looks like, many people will still fail woefully because the question just want you to write your matric number and submit because many would have defaced their scripts with instructions from 3-9. This is just technical reasoning. It taught us to always read instructions before starting to answer questions

The question says, "A Read and Test" It's a technical question and teaching us to always read instructions before commencing to answer questions. The lecturer was 100% right but you're yet to grasp the message.

Fantastic questions if you ask me. As a science lab technician , you have to be extremely careful in your job, taking into consideration even the minutest of details. I say he's done very well to teach you guys a basic and fundamental art of the trade- paying attention to details!
