initialize: What has been your experience and that of your customers using Xiaomi Redmi devices with respect to 1. heating of the phones during heavy usage 2. camera quality in low light and 3. propensity of screen to scratch (or crack due to not being a toughened glass)? All glass (Reinforced, Sand Blasted, Gorilla, Lion, Etc) will crack/break when its elastic limit is exceeded or it reaches it Yield point... They only have higher resistance to each other. At Yield Point, it will yield. Hookes Law States that: "the stress on a solid substance is directly proportional to the strain produced" If the stress is beyond its elastic limit, it will crack so I can't define it's propensity but it's durable enough to survive a heavy fall and fragile enough to be handled with care  - I'm joking here sha, the phone dey gallant.
