Sure the battery is cool, i didn't say otherwise, my point is that gionee wasn't truthful to the performance of the battery, it's not worth the hype

if gionee m5 can last for 24hrs and can play higher end games like niva3 fifa 16 then it worth buying. car charger, office gen can help. if u experienced more defect Pls save us from buying this device.

Am using the phone and so far l have not been disappointed except for the mind sight l had that the battery can last for 3 days though l can comfortably use it one full day with heavy use

Gionee M5 is the best android phone with monster battery I ever used.
As for the gaming, I will advice u not to go for dis device if your re a gammer, its a bit lagging while playing some high end games, not too lagging though
Aside dat, M5 fast and smooth in operating, awesome front and back camera, good display, very clear and loud speaker and excellent battery backup,

I heard somebody talked about c-type cable problem, that he had to buy the cable over and over again, that's too sad. These days one must suffer in deciding the kind of phone one would buy. As for me the battery isn't deal breaker cos I have so many sources of energy to keep it charged. but the cable problem.

has anyone tried the slot branded fast charger on this gionee m5... The charger is 2500 naira and it's said to charge 75 percent faster. Gionee M5 is so selective of chargers and usb cables. I had a tough time getting a replacement for my usb cable when mine got bad. The fast charge refused to become active with those usb cables even when I was using the original charger. At last one worked for me and all the cables I later imported from China are working fine on the gionee m5
