When a person kills someone out of wickedness, that person also deserves to be put to death either by jungle justice or by court sentence.

My only fear is if the person who who was burnt to death really did that dehumanising crime if yes, rightly deserved.

Quick justice to serve as a deterrent to others. I know some folks will argue that it is antithetical to a developed system, but Nigeria law enforcement and court system is one of the worst in the world so people unavoidably take laws into their hands.

This is so sad. I don't support this kind of justice blame our police and the religion bigotry and blindness in Nigeria. If this man was arrest and hand over to police I swear if he has money man as relative or friend he will be free in fact in the next few days you will see him boasting in the street. Secondly if any of his relatives know any pastor or clergy man I bet it before you know what is happening all the elders and deacon in the church will be coming to the victim family and started saying a word like "forgive so God can forgive you" "thou shall not revenge" "It's devil" before you know it the guy will be smiling as a free man and do the worst next time I belief these guys knew this criminal might be free in a few days if hand over to police and they decided to destroy him by themselves.

My Home boy got attacked by robbers two sundays ago in Benin.


They came to rob his business and when they couldnt get any money, the leader issued an instruction to the guy with the gun to his head to waste him. Seeing that he was gonna die any ways, my friend fought 4 robbers (three were armed with guns and one had a Daggar). They couldnt shoot him in the middle of the fight for fear of shooting one of their own so they stabbed him in the neck. The entire blade of the dagger was stuck into him leaving just the handle protruding out of the corner of his neck.. He suffered internal injuries to his his throat and the blade narrowly missed his spine.

Now let me state it that if I catch those Niggas, I am not waiting on the fhucking police for shiit.. None of those scums deserve to live a second longer amongst humans.

I understand that innocent people get caught up in these killings from time to time, but you can't blame the people for taking the laws into their hands when the Nigerian police and other security agencies are soo lackadaisical in their work and are extremely corrupt.

Just passed ughelli main market couple of hours ago and couldn't stop snapping the burnt guy. Those guys have been a thorn in the flesh of Ughelli for about 2 weeks now, from Afisiere to Ekredjebor to Ekuigbo. They have left traces of sorrows tears and blood. Going about raping and plucking eyes of sales girls and even older women in shops.

Please can you provide more details on how it happened?
Did he confess before he was killed? Was he caught in the act or they found him after he committed it?

I am just trying to ascertain if the person killed was actually the culprit of those rape incidents.

You just contradicted yourself. Because of the doubt in your statement, is the reason jungle justice is insane. How exactly do we know that that is the culprit. The fellow might just be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nigeria is one of the most dangerous countries in the world. It is so easy to kill anyone. It boggles my mind how and why murder in legal in that country. God. Why? Smh.

Jungle justice is the last option in an insane country like Nigeria where culprits usually go unpunished most of the time.
