So sisichels, some last minute info are required for preparation. 1. How much time is allowed for the test 2. How many questions and if possible breakdowns of different segments 3. Is there a known pass mark and if there is please tell. |

SirElaw:50 questions so I heard and about an hour given for the CBT test. U get the result instantly, if u pass u will be told to move to the next room for the essay. But if u didn't pass, gameover |

This one that no one has given a feedback on the test, NH me open the floor. First, I find it very annoying that KPMG sets sports questions for all candidates. I mean, sports is a matter of interest and should not be generalised for all as a prerequisite to moving to the next stage. secondly, this GMAT marking format is effed up. the number of questions I pass or fail should not determine my average. In a nutshell, the test was okay minus the sports section and one yeye tricky short analogy the wrecked my chances of having additional 5marks. To those who haven't written, I advise you to read on Nigerian coaches and their achievements. Current affairs, as in the current ones, not the stale ones. Free questions when was Buhari born? day, month and year what does Brexit mean? Russia was formerly called what? Brexit resolution was on? day, month and year. Know the geopolitical zones and the states under them. Nigeria became a colony when? the highest mountain in Africa is located where? Dakar is the capital of what country? what is the capital of Iceland? Know the correct spelling o the maths I got were mostly ratio, probability, permutation, combination and percentages. 50 questions in all for 1 hour. I wish u all the very best. Don't underestimate something and not read it. My test was unsuccessful but that wouldn't stop me from helping you succeed. 20 Likes |

It's a pity that some mischievious people have succeeded in exiling sisichels away from this thread and nairaland altogether despite her selfless and unselfish attitude in helping others get the best.My candid advice to the long list of people who are asking for advice.Go through the page(from pg 0-104) and find out any info that may help your quest.I think that shouldn't be long for the desperate. Those of us that were unsuccessful today should know that inadequate preparation was our undoing. What we need do now is to dedicate certain hours per day to work on our pitfalls. The mentality of making your strength even stronger and ignoring your weakness wouldn't get is good jobs in Nigeria. Hence, we need work harder. Best of luck in tests to come. 3 Likes |

Finally let me comment on this thread! The questions was soo difficult that I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw congratulations, you are successful on this stage. My essay was 1. "honesty, hardworking, intelligent, good character, integrity. Which one is important for a successful life, use practical example from your life experience to back up your choice." 2. "Technology is said to have done more harm than good, argue abi na discuss, using practical example in backing up your points" (someone should confirm this for me". NB: none of the questions on page 58/59 was relevant as they totally changed all the questions. The other lady has given the current affairs questions, however, I think it's when Lagos became a colony, 2. Kaduna, kebbi, sokoto and kastina which one is in North West. 3.Some Nigerian coaches were listed (keshi, yemi tella, oliseh, clement westerhoff and one other) A. Which has one has won an African cup of nations B. Which has won a fifa competition. 4. Date of Brexit Referendum. 5. Meaning of Brexit. 6. Capital of Iceland. 7. Dakar is capital state of.... 8. The birthday of Buhari. 9. Russia was formerly known as..... 10. The tallest mountain in Africa is in which country? 11. One other question on Brexit. My questions started with maths; 20 in all, integers, integration, ratio, percentage, study can be rearranged in how many ways, probability (at a point I nearly had headache), current affairs, then 20 verbal (the verbal was strong too, the last 5 questions on logical reasoning had me calculating as if I was solving maths, though am sure I got it at the end), you see why I was surprised to pass. Some Help for the next stage (Business Awareness/ Situational Judgment Test): These questions basically help employers know if your personality and attitudes are a match with what they want or stand for.( E.G Spontaneous or methodical, dependent or independent, rebellious or supportive, helpful and considerate or OYO and overly ambitious etc) 1. It's computer based so get a reliable computer and internet. 2. Answer it as early as possible to avoid rush or last minute pressure (did mine same day I received invitation). 3. Do it alone and by yourself, (SJTs have no right and wrong answers, rather appropriate or inappropriate based on who is asking: eg. An employer may want you to be independent and daring, while another wants you to follow rules, protocols and ethics). 3. I don't remember if multiple login is allowed, but answer it once and for all. 4. Learn about KPMG from the website, then you will know what they expect of you as an employee. 5. Don't be yourself in this test, you'll fail if you are not a perfect match with what KPMG stands for(it's not fair to get dropped at this stage). Rather use what you've learnt about them to fit yourself in (I hope that's understandable) 6. You can go back to previously answered questions before final submission, but be sure to note down your responses to all the questions in case they get wiped out. Finally many of the questions will tend to engage you in too much thinking, take your time, but don't waste too much time (You'll never figure it out even if you sleep over the questions).
