And these are just planets in our solar system, Now they are billions of such planets in our Galaxy alone, Billions of Stars(Some of which are more than a thousand times bigger than our Sun). To top it all up, They are also billions of Galaxies(Each containing billions of planets and stars and solar system and you name it) out there. Imagine the possibilities, Imagine what is beyond our reach(For now), Imagine the resources and Yes the species. They is life outside our tiny little planet, outside our tiny little solar system, outside our tiny little Galaxy. And yet some think the world revolves around them and their Jewish and Arabs gods.

1. Moon

The picture below is a regular old landscape photograph taken by artist Ron Miller, a former art director for NASA. It shows the moon in the night sky, 240,000 miles away. But have you ever wondered what this same night sky would look like if the planets were the same distance away from the earth?

It would be interesting to have a different kind of “moon” in our night sky but in reality the effects on our planet would vary (absolutely catastrophic in some cases), ranging from massive tilt of the earth’s axis, chaotic spinning, erratic temperatures, stripping away of our atmosphere, crazy tides, less gravity, volcanic mayhem etc.

But hey, won’t it be nice to have another kind of moon? Enjoy!!!

But have you thought of other planets and stars our cosmos?

Nice Thread. There are a number of apps in playstore that give you a close up of the planets. Good for educational purposes and fun for kids.

Planetview and skytracker are just 2.

I was thinking one of dem would be bigger Dan earth
There is none of this planets which is not bigger than the earth, even all galaxies that appears small(e.g Stars) are all bigger than our dear Earth.. it was just a matter of distance

7. Jupiter

The diameter of Jupiter is 40 times larger than that of the moon and it would dominate the night sky if it were in the same position. Jupiter is so large that from Earth we would not be able to see the north and south poles of the planet, as it would fill the sky as far as we can see. We would all feel a lot more humble with Jupiter's presence constantly looking over us.

In other words, if you were to suddenly step out of your house and see Jupiter in the night sky, you will put your hands on your head and say “Chai!!! There is God o! shocked

But guys, if this were to magically happen in reality, we would have more pressing things to worry about than how awesome the sky looks. Jupiter would continuously zap us with mass amounts of deadly radiation, the earth’s axis will have a massive tilt, the earth will spin much slower and there will be no nights, there will be violent tides and sporadic volcanic eruptions and we would also weigh much lighter due to Jupiter’s gravitational influence. You will wish Jupiter goes back to where it came from!

If Jupiter were the planet in the moon's position, it’s likely Earth would not even survive intact. The Earth will be ripped into pieces and form a ring around Jupiter (just like Saturn).

If this replaces our planet's moon, that will be the end to the "missing moon" issues faced by our Muslim brothers and sisters during Ramadan.

But theres no land in jupiter it's just one big gas giant or are you just gonna chill in its metallic hydrogen core? While inhaling all the dust and gas from the great red spot.
I'm not sure thats healthy.

Yeah pluto was relegated from planet status in 2006 due to the fact that it does not achieve gravitational dominance, that is, it has not "cleared its neighborhood. It is a body like many others orbiting the sun in the "kuiper belt".
I still dnt understand
