What a day! I was flabbergasted to hear what transpired today at Igando (actually this took place at the coastal part of the Shuiti axis of Igando) .Anyway this should serve as a reminder to the appropriate authorities on the need to provide adequate security on our waterway's. Sometimes I wonder if the Nigerian police even have a marine squad like it is in other climes, just imagine ,if they the police can't even handle such incidents without the help of the army, then why do we even have the police in the first place if they can't fight crime. I think it's high time Nigeria revisits the issue of state police, probably things would be better that way. |

They have been chased back into the creeks like the rats that they are. RRS are currently tracking them using drones and a helicopter. This is not Niger Delta where the Governor and politicians are their patrons. People that reside in areas that they stop by should be vigilant, they need food and supplies. There is no safe haven for criminals over here. 1 Like |
