There is an increasing rise in the number of fake ‘disabled’ beggars in the streets of Nairobi. It appears the business is getting lucrative by the day.

Just last week, one was exposed in Ngara after he stood up from his wheelchair and pushed it away normally.

On Tuesday, another ‘disabled’ beggar, who also doubled as a thief, was nearly lynched by a mob along Koinange Street.

She was caught red handed attempting to steal a car’s side mirror.
