What are the differences between LED, LCD and Plasma. I'm not asking for a definition or theoretical knowledge.
The cost aspect seem different so I fear if I buy the Plasma today, been the cheapest, I may live to regret it in near future.
Advice and explanations pls.
Let me explain in a layman way
LED advantage is that it is light in weight,durable, has low energy consumption, its a new model,smart,has bio degradable parts
LCD is outdated,consumes slightly high amount of electricity, heavy,not that smart,and durable too.
PLASMA is facing off, consumes less amount of electricity for newer models like 2010 models and above,smart,fairly heavy, and durable too.
LED's are latest in town and plasmas are fading off. Who advise to buy LED as plasma consumes extra amount of electricity and has a reflective screen effect when used on light areas. LCD's are old and has been long stopped as they are replaced by LED's. Though all are durable depending on the maker and continent of origin. Thanks

I am posting this writeup with a bitter heart. I have not been around for sometime now. I was coming back from Asaba and I decided to stop at new electronic market Ontisha and I visited Samsung Service Center to know if they will repair the fault I discovered on the smart TV (ue32h6410) you sold to me. I showed them the image of the screen of my TV and they said that the screen is faulty that I need to change the screen and secondly that they don't repair that are not meant for Samsung Nigeria. I wanted to return this TV the first day I plugged on A.C. light but I considered that the transport fare to send it back to you can equally repair it and I decided not to send it but now that I have known that the screen cannot be repaired except by changing it completely, I WANT TO SEND IT BACK TO YOU TO CHANGE THE TELEVISION FOR ME BUT IF YOU CAN REPAIR, WELL I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT.

you dnt have a problem sending it back,but if you do pls ensure you protect the screen with enough syro foam. One thing I want you to knw is that samsung nigeria works with ASIAN only (any tv with the UA) and not the UE (EUROPE). So it will be had to fix it and beside I dnt think it's a screen issue. But I will run a diagnosis when I get it. Am sorry for any trouble it might had caused you. Cheers

Acunon, I want you to go back to page 85 where you posted the image of the said TV before you sent it to me and cross examine the image very closely and you will see how dark or deem the centre is. The first image is the image of my TV which you posted on page 85 and the second image is the image of another sound TV which you posted on page 87. I want you to compare the two images.
Well some tvs been sold has that type of dark dim effect but it doesn't boarder ppl since it doesn't hinder display view. Some of this effect are caused by power problem and some other stuff.

From my observation

The J5500 runs on TinzenOS and has better image stablization (micro dimming pro) that helps restructure Nd fine tune image to high clarity. Though it doesn't comes with 3D with has no need. The H6400 which is a stronger series with Quad core tech,3D, better motion rate with voice and motion control capability is also better. But if I where to choose,I would go for the tinzenOS since it is a new OS and lots of things to play around with.
