Greatest UNIBEN INTELLECTUALS, This is to inform us that as at TODAY MONDAY 8/7/2016 the school calender still remains the same. Thus, New Students comes into Campus 15/8/2016 for the 2016/2017 academic session while Old Students returns to Campus 3/9/2016 for 2016/2017 academic session. Meanwhile, lectures begins 5/9/2016 for the 2016/2017 academic session. However, should there be any change in resumption date, the Office of the SUG Public Relations Officer would inform us adequately and Timely.
As regard the UNIBEN ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE, This is to INFORM the General Public that the management of University Of Benin is still silent on admission matters. The management through the Office Of the UNIBEN P.R.O urge all Aspirant to be careful and patient as not to fall victim of fraudsters. Any neccesary update as regard the screening exercise would be made known to the General Public via UNIBEN website.
And from KRESTIGHT CONCEPT, this is to inform us that the 3 days TOUR to CROSS-RIVER State has been shifted to next semester due to changes in exams date. Every incoviniencess is highly regretted.

That is actually what is one the official calendar. Last year it was 3rd of Sept, then 5th of October fr new students but they resumed some time in November. Now hearing there wont be Post UME again. No time for that anymore. Dat Merit list will be out on the 15th. Cant say sha. U guys should jst be at alert.

Most likely. Been hearing that the merit cutoff mark for Med is 300/312. A good number of applicants got above 300.

I was suprised when I read that UniBen no longer have accreditation for Pharmacy.
She used to pride herself with the PharmD programme.

It's just for a period of time.It ubiquitous; not peculiar to uniben.

It simply means their accreditation status has expired.A revisitation by Nuc will reinstate those courses back to their normal status.

one can only panic when the school has not produced graduates before in those departments.

SUG EMERGENCY UPDATE!!!
Good morning Great minds, a particular school calender has been spreading online which is contrary to the UNIBEN calender.
This is to inform us that wether or not UNIBEN would change her calender depends on the conclusion that would be reached by the University Senate, as at now University Of Benin Senate has not met and the school calender still remains the same pending the time i receive an official statement from the management saying otherwise.
This is also to sound a serious warning to whoever is in charge of spreading this false rumour and among other false rumours to desist from it as the consequences would be too hard to bear if been caught.
We urge the good people of UNIBEN to discard any news contrary to an adequate information so as not to progress in error.
Any change in the school calender would be related to the students via this same platform.
Enjoy your holiday and do not panic as we are always ready to serve you better.
