STRAIGHT FROM LAUTECH
Dear All,
It is quite disturbing and disheartening seeing all sorts of
unverified and shambolic news being propagated everyday by some
mischief maker who only find solace in stirring peaceful water.

Without modicum of respect, I regard anybody who by virtue of self
inflicted idleness take cheer recourse to sending fabricated news all
over the media space as an Arrant Mischief Maker(s) and they are
strongly insensitive to the plight of students who are patiently
waiting to the news of school calling off the prevailing strike action
that is whiling away our precious time.

The school has designed a platform (Lautech Student Email Address and
the school portal) through which every necessary information could get
to our respective door steps within a jiffy. I urge us all to kindly
debunk and press the ignore button with alacrity towards any message
or news that is not in your student email address box so as not to
put ourselves into unnecessary distress mood.

It is very laughable and pathetic to wake up to the news that "one of
the University Visitors singlehandedly sack and replace the presiding
VC" and in another news "Lautech has been sold to the FG". These
headlines are flagrant display of mischief makers trying hard to play
pranks on our intelligence and to take advantage of the status quo of
the prevailing industrial action. I stand to correct the above
fabricated headlines that; (1) Lautech is being own and controlled by
the two sister states, one visitor does not have the autonomous right
to declare the office of the VC vacant when his tenure hasn't expired
and if need be, It requires due process which doesn't happen over
night (2) How on earth will the same FG who owns severally underfunded
Universities across the country will now add LAUTECH to its already
filled-to-the-brim financial burden? How will such transaction be made
without the involvement of the Principal Officers of the school, NUC,
SSANU , ASUU and Ministry of Education? Only to wake up one morning
and they just purchase LAUTECH like a diaper in the baby store. Dear
Mischief Makers All of us cannot be so Gullible!

I implore us all to stop helping the mischief makers in gaining
popularity, by totally refraining from forwarding their broadcast to
group pages. All needed information regarding the strike action will
be duly sent to our respective emails when necessary.

Kindly continue to remain hopeful that the warring lecturers and the
school management will soon reach an amicable understanding towards
calling off the strike action. Thanks for your time.
