Onegai: Very easy Just pick an ankara print that has a design that the stones will look fab on I dont use a glue gun but a special rhinestone applicator It works the same way by heating up the rhinestone and then you place it on the fabric the better quality the rhinestone the better the result. 2 Likes |

Really? So you were already salivating. Ok another thing you can do that will make you spend less is if you buy it in idumota at that price then give it to less expensive tailors that will not collect more than 1500naira from you per aso oke o tearoses: 1 Like 1 Share |

Tearoses and sambarry, that was to just sew the Ankara, not even to put stones. I moonwalked outta the shop. There are no more tailors in Lagos, it's to put signboard and print business cards that says "Designer, Haus of Olamide" and be charging exorbitantly. Packaging is not cheap. Why will you be pinching a little geh in her uniform, eh?? What did she do to you?? Has she -broken the remote control -broken the screen of the phone -thrown away her earring and broken 3 of your jewelry (including the coral beads that were antique and original ) -flushed something important down the toilet -drank her bathwater -refused to sleep in her crib or by herself, she must always lie on your body -smiles at every young man in Lagos, even though you show her pics of her intended every single day and make her practise her post English accent -refused to sit on her potty -refused to allow you use the loo or even just hide in it for 10 minutes without her crying (Himself has started hiding in his cupboard) Ehhhh 2 Likes 1 Share |

Also give her earrings that are not easily removable As for the shoes and socks......you cant do anything she will soon grow out of it when she becomes older now, she will be doing oge like her mum if you see my daughter now and fashion everything must match Just now she came to me smelling of coconut oil |
Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by Nobody: 9:54pm On Aug 29, 2016 |
yetseyi: You go past badagry and comtinue along the road as if you are going towards the border You will go past badagry beach Then on the left hand side there are hamlets (u can see them from the road) There are lots of them actually weaving the aso oke they mainly make to order, but they have some already made for sale too They are not Nigerians |

Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by yetseyi(f): 10:05pm On Aug 29, 2016 |
tearoses: Thanks, I never knew there was something like that at badagry my backyard here. I thought it was only at Oje market Ibadan one can order . The ones you bought was it the complete set they weaved I mean the one that can sew gele, ipele, fila complete from the bundle. I believe the sellers can speak pidgin or broken Yoruba for effective communication since they are not naija. Sorry for my plenty questions. |
Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by Nobody: 10:11pm On Aug 29, 2016 |
yetseyi: I didnt know either I Am familiar with badadry too and I didnt know anything of the sort exists until I watched a documentary about it and then searched it out and voila! They speak yoruba very well and its the complete set - gele, ipele and fila You can even bring your own styles I was pressed for time so couldn't give them an order so just bought what they had My advise, dont buy from the first person you see visit several weavers so you can see a variety of designs the prices are pretty much the same, but the designs are different prices are mainly between 3k and 5k depending on what you want they do all sorts of designs including jawu, silk etc 1 Like |

tearoses:LMao And the food won't satisfy you.after 3spoons you'll be like so 2500 Don finish? Moreso tailor ni tailor nje.all those tailors that open shops in containers or make shift are equally as good as the one who will Behind her shop up and make it more sophisticated And iF the cloth even tear sef you cannot take it back there for adjustments. Rada rada I'll rather give my money TO the tailors who are still looking for money to rent shop than the one one senator opened a clothing line for in lekki.nonsense |
