Russia? To deliver the Armata to its army right? (Not to another country)

Armoured warfare = Germans.

Wondering if they'll go ahead with the new 130mm Rheinmetall gun.

When you see tanks being destroyed by ATGMs in the field compare it to infantry evaporating cause of kinetic ammunition dropped by aircraft.

The upgrade would still go on, i believe BAE systems would carry out the upgrade instead of Rheinmetall, who were offering a completely new gun. Although even with the upgrades the Challenger2 would still be very obsolete when compared to the T-14.

We dont know anything about the T-14 yet so lets not go down this road.

Even unmanned turrets on MBT's have been around for ages...

No one is buying into the 130/140mm meme while DU rounds exist

The only question is rifled v smooth-bore.

Brits really liked rifled because of their love for HESH rounds, and they are very conservative in the way they do things (build super carrier, still put a ramp on it grin ) so its going to be really interesting to see what they do.

with a cash strapped British armed forces this is going to take forever (with the constant changing global events, its unacceptable).the US army and marines have being waiting for an american made active protection system being developed for a long time, now the marine have opted to test israel active protection systems instead of the american made systems. the challenger 2 is in serious need of upgrade.

Building the Reva FAV Recon/Special Forces vehicle. The Reva FAV is a very easy build, it shouldn't take more than a 2 weeks to build and deliver a unit.
With many countries on our continent in the process of benchmarking and establishing SF capability I believe there's a market for this type of vehicles.

The Denel PMP INkunzi strike weapon.

Wish this weapon can be used as the heart of a gun pod for helicipters and other light aircraft such as the Paramount Mwari.

And possibility replacing the French NC-621 20mm cannon offered as part of the Paramount FLASH system.

Maybe the Rooivalk external fuel tanks can used as the pod. Giving the attack helicopter a new weapon system.

Seems the Air Force Chief knows what he's doing. Beyond universities, there are government agencies specialized in fabrication and reverse engineering NAF could partner with. Someone mentioned NASENI, excellent advice.
