exactly what I'm also going through here, we are both experiencing the same problem, and I don't think it's a charging port issue because I have a friend who also uses hot note and his charger flash charges my own without any issues at all.

I've resolved mine witha simple trick.
Its from the charger usb port. I after plugging the usb cable in raise it a little bit and used a broom stick to argument it so that I'll stay and it flash charges without issues and supervision. Saved me a couple of thousands in fixing what wasn't broken.

I was charging my infinix hot note yesterday night all of a sudden it became very hot and switched off by itself, battery was at 54%. I left it to cool like i was advised. minutes later I turn it on it came on but the battery was at 3%
I plugged it to the charger less than a minute it went off and never came on again

What do you think is the problem with it and what should I do?

I think it's the battery. It's days are over. Try going to Infinix Office they'll fix it.

Jst download &install "Flat style bar indicator"
Its a module in xpose, get xpose installed and working, den search for it. its user friendly

Can't get image to deduce d font name, I used "flat style bar indicator" for tweaking d status bar

BTW, u must b rooted and installed xpose installer
