When ever someone from the East says that, I can always tell their background and the kind of Place you live or grow up in Lagos. Most of you come to Lagos to Hustle , lots of your people End up sleeping under the Bridge or one bedroom in the ghetto. Please tell me the kind of Yorubas do you expect to meet under the brige or in the Ghetto. When you move to a Good neighborhood whether mainland or Island, come back and repeat the statement.

I condemed all the kings, president and government in nigeria. All of them are just parasite you can see how many aircondition attached to the palace of the king and the community is suffering while the king is wearing a golden shoe. Pls nigeria let come to our senses and think of the possible outcomes. This people will think they have a job, this are job that are useless here in nigeria go to UK and see people sweeping the railway, they can build house and buy car in nigeria. But here in my country people are used as slave, and they are still happy. I wish this Buhari will vanished one day.

I'm really getting to love this guy, this little little ideas that make real impact. I hope not just sweeping the streets but also planting flowers, removing makeshift sharks, and towing those abandoned cars. Later if the program is successful it can go further whereby the cities will mandate the landlords to repaint there houses if there is need to do so.

I can't believe you just said that. Isn't it normal to normalize an abnormality? How do you get better when everything you do is abnormal. Smh.

I don't know what all this epistle has to do you saying that abnormal situations require abnormal solutions. How do you solve an abnormality using abnormal means? Common sense should tell any sane human being that normalcy is required to solve an abnormal situation. Engaging in abnormalcy in trying to solve a problem only perpetuates the problem.

Dead bodies lie in state on the streets of Aba for days, children play football as if nothing is happening, market people sell their wares, it's so normal to wake up and see dead guys in that town.

Nice move Oba. Sustainability is the key. They should also extend it to other neighbouring towns and villages, it should just stop at Ile-Ife.

Also, Governor of Abia State should take a cue from this and initiate this in his State especially in Aba.
i agreed

now tell me, the way forward. My point is that nigeria citizens can only do but little, the pple in government will do the bulk of 'Normal things',for you to see effect. The buck stops at mr president's desk, this is what is obtainable here in nigeria. Am not saying you should not do those normal things that u know, but its effects can not be felt by d generality of nigeria pple. If you can't understand me,I can't help it. If I may ask, what are those normal things, that you think will turn nigeria to a developed nation? And tell me who will implement them.

One of d normal thing should be- FRSC arresting a police van wwithout rear light, bad tyres, broken trafficator light, driving against d traffic etc;. Have you ever seen any road safety officials doing that? How do u arrest such situation with ur "normal gospel"?

our various institutions must 1st devoid of precedency influence, they should be completely indepedent of any external power. They must be seen doing the normal things, then we citizen/followers will now queue behind them; note: Not the other way round.

Which region in Nigeria, that does not have dirty towns and cities?
most people in Lagos are really suffering and lots of them are touts. The places like ife and other towns can be equated to Island in Lagos. Mainlands of Lagos is what I call living in Ghetto, hardship, poverty and suffering. And many of them can't just swallow their pride and relocate to small towns they'll enjoy their life without spending much. Living condusive at Lagos is paid for handsomely. But many Lagosians are tired of spending heavily but don't want to pack away from ordinary Lagos like Lagos is Dubai. African mentalities all over. Lagosians are suffering and smiling and many people go to Lagos, come back home empty handed with nothing to show for it. Lagos consumes people's money, standard of living is too expensive on nothing. I do pity Lagosians, many of them live like prisoners and yet they call people from other places that are living way better than them villagers.
