Don't come here and display unwarranted ignorance. You must be a Chelsea fan. angry

point of correction I'm not ignoramus. ur the one who stand to be corrected, arsenal actually won the Premier League in 2003–04 without losing a single match which is also close to 14yrs and by the way I'm not chelshit because red is my blood, United for life.

If you don't know anything about something, please google is there to help not come here and start spewing nonsense on my comment

Btw my Heartland is in a mess!
Congrats our own Rangers. Rangers kwenu! But what is happening with my darling Heartland fc? See what mismanagement has done to my club, to even think that it was this Imama Amapakabo that left heartland a year ago and lifted the league cup with Rangers.

I think you need to explain the bold part, cos I do not know El-Kanemi is an Igbo Language hence the Club is from either SE or SS!

When 3SC was representing, where is Enyimba, Ifeanyi Uba FC and Rivers United?! Let me briefly enlighten you Kid..... Gabros was bought and the Name changed to Ifeanyi Uba FC. Can you mention how many Trophies won by Gabros?! Rivers United is an amalgamation of Sharks and Dolphins respectively, do I need to inform you the reason for the Amalgamation?! It's simply because one of the Clubs was disgraced and ousted from the Nigeria Premier League!

Enyimba came into spotlight in the 20th Century Lad! Hence it's far below the success Shooting Stars of Ibadan - the Oluyole Warriors - have recorded as far as domestic League and Competitions are concerned!

Meanwhile I won't let your tribal bigotry to disrupt this Thread...... a big Congratulation to Rangers! It's a Victory well deserved. I hope they represent Nigeria well in the next Africa Champions League!
Bro's what do you mean by Enyimba success is below that's of 3SC how many league, domestic cup, international trophies have 3SC won.Enyimba have won seven league titles, four fa cup,two caf champions league,2 caf super cup,5 nigerian super cup.compared to that of 3SC who have never won caf champion league, super cup and are far below enyimba in number of league's and super cup won.shooting stars are only above enyimba in terms of fa cup won, which I believed enyimba will overtake them.So before you compare any team or call somebody a lad u need to do a thorough research before comparing.

Though not in support of some guys and ethnocentric comments on football discuss, which remain the only sector bereft of ethnic brouhaha.

FCIfeanyiuba today have almost equal yoruba players to igbo players + other foriegn players!

However, In just 16years Enyimba has surpased what ever record 3SC must have recorded!

Heartland, Rangers and Enyimba have won more league titles than 3SC but 3sc still have the edge over heartland and Rangers @continental records! Enyimba still remain Nigeria's most succesful clubside
the major reason why the south West clubs are not doing well is very simple, they were privately owned before Government took over, and most of the government in Sw do not see clubs as a major priority, in other states apart from sw, a football game is great entertainment due to the fact that they do have other forms of entertainment that most people in lag or other states are already busy with, things are changing in other parts too, thanks to Dstv and veiwing centers.

Is 4 greater than 5? The last time I checked, 3SC won the League 5 times which makes them the 3rd behind Rangers and Enyimba, while Heartland only won the League 4 times.

Enyimba is the most successful clubside in Nigeria followed by 3SC based at continental records.

Those are my two favourite clubs. I don't know why Oyo state government doesn't want to sell the club to nairabet. I believe if they sell it, 3SC go do something.

never wanted to reply you but I have tell you this, in early 80s my uncle was still in University of ibadan, him and his eastern brothers went to watch a game between 3sc and bendel insurance, the left to the stadium so early because they don't want to miss seats, they got there and were disappointed because they thought it was in enugu where stadium get filled very early! so what I am saying is the SW don't show support to their local leagues! despite their numerical strength in media today.. so you don't have any excuse on why you do very bad in npfl!

some nicknames are meant to be wierd, unusual, and by extension, unique. consider 'red devils'. its not supposed to mean the devil is red, it just conveys how dangerous the team can be to other teams. now look at 'flying antelopes' again. you know how fast an antelope runs, now imagine that it also flies. it says about the team that they are either extremely fast in their style of play, or that they lead the other teams being antelopes with the rare attribute of flight. moreover, the nickname is coined from their logo.

well talking about logos, some npfl teams have really stupid logos. rangers' and enyimba's are splendid, but i really disgusted with kano pillars'. what do you think?

No only Una states get limited purse?
Are you saying sports development is not necessary?
The reason why eastern leagues do better than yours is the interest shown by eastern masses to football. And from the masses come the leaders.

Life is a phase brother. Abiola babes, Leventis, Stationary Stores et al had done great things in the past & when 3SC had an unbeaten season in 1983/84, there was no Enyimba or Ifeanyi Ubah then. Same way as Rangers was trash in the 90s when BCC Lions & El Kanemi were winning things.

Your west side clubs have not been making waves, they are dying.
Quoting what shooting stars did in decades back cannot revive your clubs either. 3SC is not part of the equation at all as we speak.
Better start working on them, it's your type that complain Igbos are too plenty in Super eagles but you will not grow talents Now.

interesting point you raised. Enyimba did have a shitty logo too until they revamped their identity last year and introduced the lovely elephant head logo. Most NPFL club logos are horrible, to put it mildly but am sure as they become more media active and compete to sell merchandise, they will be forced to improve.

To add another interesting topic, why do we have few privately owned clubs in the league and why do the government owned clubs tend to do better?

Also, how much do you think it will cost an owner to run a club for one season and what is the possible returns for the same year?

What I said is the truth. You did it in the past Os not a good reason to did. Westside clubs are not even struggling as we speak not to talk of doing well. As at that time, Rangers was doing well too. Enyimba and Rangers are the highest winners of the league.
Even kano pillars is more prestigious than 3SC now.
