Here is my humble opinion on this issue of minors raped.

1. I don't believe a child below the age of 7 can arouse a man sexually.
2. Secondly, I thinks most of this issue of minors raped are setup cases or miscommunication.

I for one like children a lot, but due to stories like this I don't even like playing with little girls, I rather play boys, carry them, cuddle them. That's children for you .

Finally, if it's proven beyond doubt by a qualified health personnel that a minor has been raped (totally horrific and barbaric) , then I think the best place to take the accused to is a psychiatric hospital because the person is mentally unstable.

I can't imagine how someone rapes a minor, it's totally ridiculous.

It has always been like that in Nigeria. The only reason we are hearing more of these stories now than in the past is because we are living in an age of technology and with the internet, news tends to spread faster. I truly worry about Nigeria because what most Nigerians don't realize is that most victims of child sexual abuse never recover fully from the ordeal. Most female victims of child sexual abuse will grow up to hate sex, dislike men, battle low self esteem issues, have difficulties maintaining or keeping relationships, have trust issues, have social issues, suffer from medical disorders like vaginismus otherwise known as painful sex and much more.

I believe that Nigeria is an extremely misogynist society and that is why tough laws have not been enacted and enforced to combat child sexual abuse and rape. All I know is that you people are destroying the lives of your future women and when the seed you people planted begin to manifest, it will not be pretty. Thank God I will not be raising a family in a society such as this.

By the way, for a country that prides itself as being moral and God fearing, I wonder why so many Nigerian-bred men are so mentally depraved. No wonder Nigeria as a nation is currently under a curse and no amount of praying will lift that curse until Nigeria as a society learns to protect her children from mentally depraved beasts parading in human skin.
