Well predegree gives u an advantage over freshers cos u will be used to d syllabus and rigorious reading of Ife, and it gives u exposure about Ife, also is a way of not staying at home if u did not get admitted into the university as planned.
Another advantage is that u are taught by are OAU lecturers and after that given test and exam and once u get 60percent and above, u are guaranteed a course, to gey the course of your choice u need to work hard, and the space is not as competitive as those using jamb for entrace into OAU, like now about 2000 pl want law in OAU through JAMB, and they're going to admit about 150 while through PD about 350 people want law and they'll admit about 120 through PD. So PD has an advantage.

Thanks. Looking at Efuajimoh post above that I quoted, does that mean if one does this predegree program and gets the required percentage, will he/her be given the course irrespective of JAMB and point system?

During the pre degree program i planned on scoring above my wanted course cut off mark. Is it compulsory for me to pick oau in my jamb then

JAMB is a necessary requirement for any PD student, you will have to register for next year's jamb and u will have to have 180 and above as a PD student. 180 in jamb is the minimum score approved for PD students to gain admission into OAU. Once you have 180 and above in jamb and 60 percent and above in PD, you are guaranteed a course
