The financial company that gives 21% is called "419 financial services".

You don't need to find them, they will find you.

Just got a debit alert from Stanbic please what does it mean, I bidded 13.7% for 91 days and I was debited #193,183.74 amount is #200,000, someone please explain

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Gquest: 10:22pm On Oct 21, 2016
for example, you want to invest 1,000,000 so you decided to bid 364 days @ 18% via Firstbank. Assuming you opt-in for the interest to be reinvested whereby you wont get any interest upfront until maturity...If the bid is successful, you will get 1,215,358 at maturity after bank charges. This implies a true yield of 21.64%

I don't know about other banks but i am sure Firstbank, Stanbic, Meristem and Investment One allows biding with the interest to be rolled over if requested.

explained before, 13.7 x 1/4 which is roughly 3.425,

3.425x200000/100

6800 is wat u get

Note a discount rate of 17.80%pa gives an effective rate of over 21%pa

the rate quoted there is not the discount rate, but the effective rate (remember that i reinvested the upfront interest), so the discount rate is effectively 17.8%. So its not a 419 investment

..From what I was made to understand by my account officers at FBN,there is not meant to be any charge on your TB..I wasn't charged any fee and my bid went through(FBN)..So go to your FBN bank and ask them to provide explanations..
