Visa? In Bonny? Bros suffry dey lie. undecided
They do have very stable power supply & apart from the highly guarded and fenced NLNG 'town', the rest of Bonny is nothing special.

Ive been living there for years and Im still there as Im typing this now.The image outside is not the true picture. Dont let us go to the life, lifestyle, morality, spiritual aspect, you would wish to run away within a month even if you are eating turkey except God helps you.Not all things that glitters is gold.

That uninterrupted power supply caught my attention. So this place exists in Rivers State. Well I know those seven states that generates less to the government than this island are Northern and Western States. Poor ass states enjoying Niger Delta money.

This Bonny Island can't stand Banana Island from every sense. Be it the serenity, the quality of the houses and road network and above all the calibre of the residents on Banana island (Lagos). No doubt Bonny Island is a nice place frm what have read abt the place, but all these your claims are unfounded to say the least.

3. The island is one of the richest Islands in Africa. It contributes more money to the FG revenue than seven states combined.

It hosts the world’s second largest LNG plant and has the lowest unemployment rate in the whole country.
that's the niger delta...feeding the country relentlessly..

OP, dont mislead people, there is no visa requirement to get to Bonny. it will also do u well if you post the entire picture of Bonny, not just the NLNG town. There are rugged areas and ghettos too.
Lol.....don't mind the OP,and he forgot the fly size mosquitos of Bonny.

I know the OP wants to be courteous but courteously unconscious in overhyping Bonny Island. The exaggeration or lies are too expensive. You are right that there is security, constant power supply etc but to say it's the most beautiful place is a serious lie that even Bonny people will be angry with you. You only described LNG R.A for NLNG Staff only which is less than 15% of the total Bonny Island. Of course, the company tries her best for the town. But when you come to Bonny town, it is not as beautiful as you claimed. There are batchers everywhere similar to Ajegunle slums you can mistaken for animal pen. When people describe Bonny Island, they only show LNG I.A and LNG R.A. The roads are very tiny without drainage. When it rains, you wish you were not there.Dont let me talk about other things that will scare you away.I dont have time to send you other pictures. People are suffering a lot here.So LNG Residential Area is not a complete picture of the land. No road from P.H except through Bonny water which is two hours LNG boat or 1 hr local speed boat. There is nothing like visa.If you go to visit an LNG staff member in R.A, the person will come to register you and a card for pass with you picture will be given to you bearing your name, your host, date in and date out, address of host etc. This is just for security purpose into staff quarters only which is also obtainable anywhere else.
thank u jare bro!! If no be u ehn, dis OP 4 don suffocate us wit LIEs abt bonny island.

It’s hard to believe that exotic places such as Bonny Island exist in Nigeria.

Bonny Island is a little paradise located in Rivers state. The island boasts of things that you will not imagine possible in Nigeria. Uninterrupted power supply and a highly organised and wealthy community. Bonny Island can compete with any exotic location in the world, and here are some reasons why you should make it your next vacation spot.

Every oil producing community should be like bobby. What about Brass? I hear its also a fine place.

Did it occur to you that the O.P may be referring to foreigners maybe?
fratermathy:

The impression the Op is giving is that you need a visa to enter Bonny Island which I know can't be possible. The RA is a reserved area for NLG staff and the company has the right to limit visits to their area for security. The Op should rehash the initial statement.

How much air pollution do you have in that Bonny Island, considering the activities within and around the Island, what are the health risks?

Just tell us you took pictures of NLNG and not Bonny town. Bonny island and Finima is nothing but other Nigeria town. chaos and unplanned. I know the entire place
