suya bad?upon d onion, tomatoes, pepper, ginger & oyher spices rich in anti-oxidants still bad, this minister need to hav his brain examine dem wanna take away our suya. embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed

Not that suya is bad...As you know suya is red meat...the question you should ask yourself is

<<<Are you taking more calories than you can burn off
<<<Is red meat crowding out your food more than others such as vegetable>Fruits and other grains

If your answers are yes, then you need to apply some break.

With d exception of few guys who saw reason in d ministers speech. Its laughable dat many of u guys r just showcasing ur ignorance on dis crucial topic... Hypertension, Stroke, diabetes, kidney failures e.t.c

A visit to d general hospitals will convince u. Many patients die daily as a result of all these.
Laughing and condemnin d minister won't save u wen d time comes... Kontinue eating.
Ignorance is d worst disease!!!!

Because l know there is a high chance they will not discharge their duty as the system is fraught with compromises and l cannot gamble with my life when l have a choice....we all have the right to make our different choices.

cool The concept of excessive intake of sodium (Na) is misunderstood by many in the medical community. Studies has shown that what is pertinent is actually the ratio of sodium to potassium (K) consumed. This two elements compliment each other. The problem in Nigeria is that people consume sodium without the complimentary consumption of potassium. A ratio of 4:1 (sodium : potassium) is still within the healthy range. cool

This is not just about buhari, some of this things we consume are not good to our health especially smoked foods such as roasted yam, roasted corn, and suya. they cause liver fat and some other health related issues. No one said you shouldn't eat them but in moderation.
