What these badbelles don't know is, dropping points against teams like wesbrom, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, palace and other lowly placed teams is what cost the league. Picking maximum points against them in whatsoever way you can is what brings the trophy home.

To win this league, you must pick max point against these small teams even if it means winning with just a goal and fighting dirty

no you don't get it, every manager is finding way to stop #CFC since their unbeating and clean sheet game started
till Tot came and score against them, pep did same, since #CFC started winning game this season they have become the target from by other team, i call them spoilers just like the swansea game

if you're a good football fan you will understand, every team who have played attacking football so well against #CFC have conceed nothing less than 3 4 or 5 goals, so the need why the are playing defensively,

so swansea Sunderland and others have used about 7 to 9 players to defend what do you expect from #CFC

when Mancity was ontop earlier the season is they faced same thing and now where are they on the table 4th

U need not explain anything to me ogbeni, for u to rate everton's attacking prowess over teams like city and spurs means ure a loong way off soccer comprehension or better yet, ur hatred for Chelsea's success has blinded u.


U don't expect to blow away other teams all the time just to prove you're good. Games that are grinded out like our victory over west brom and sunderland are what defines a season....those hard fought wins are even more appreciated because the team dug in even under immense pressure. So you're welcome to hate all u want but try not to let it affect your judgement.

Chelsea plays better when they face those ur "good attacking " team than those who defend with there lives. Cos dey ll always hit on the counter with dere fast players. Ask Man Utd, ask man city... Dose games were won with counter attacking football.

As much as I like the idea, we don't play like barca so starting Hazard as a false 9 might just backfire esp in the epl where most managers are concious of their defence and keeping their team as compact as possible.

We can switch to that formation if we're defending a lead and we want to hit on the counter like we did against City

I totally agree but the problem I have with Mikel is his back and sideways passes.


Matic and Fabregas are quite slow. Fab is even worse off cos he doesnt even have 1w defensive bone in his body but they make up their lapses with passes and assists.

Mikel is good esp when we want to retain possession and see off games.

Different clubs different history. Arsenal is renowned for coming up short, not just last Xmas but several times. In fact many of the Arsenal fans here have never witnessed their team win the premier league talkless of the Champions League cos their days of glory are in the past. They are closer to their traditional 4th position and they are yet to play some big teams in the first round of the fixtures. They only thing that changed is that they finally beat Chelsea after several attempts but it was not as heavy as the 6-0 trashing Chelsea gave them in '14 when Wenger collapsed after the match. Sanchez will be 29 next year, hence Wenger doesn't want to give him a lucrative contract and the player himself seems to want another challenge. After all the show Sanchez has put up in North London, only the FA cup is there to show for it.
