lool... from my experience, I think some sisters get deceived by their young age and the nonstop influx of proposals. So they just keep procrastinating and bouncing proposals.

Anyway, I understand that for the women the matter is very complicated and a wrong decision for once is most likely a wrong decision for life.

But, Even old men want to marry sweet young girls not women!

He didn't mean to demean anyone, I'm sure you know. May Allah overlook our errors.

As for the sweet and unsweet issue, I didn't say older women are unsweet, although my statement might imply it. But no doubt that a young virgin is far sweeter than others.
I'm not talking from experience ooo!!! It's in the hadith, the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam encouraged men to marry virgins.

Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported: I married a woman during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (may peace be. upon him). I met the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him), whereupon he said: Jabir, have you married? I said: Yes. He said: A virgin or one previously marrried? I said: With due previously married, whereupon he said: Why did you not marry a virgin with whom you could sport? I said: Allah's Messenger, I have sisters; I was afraid that she might intervene between me and them, whereupon he said: Well and good, if it is so. A woman is married for four reasons, for her religion, her property, her status, her beauty, so you should choose one with religion. May your hands cleave to dust. (Muslim:3458)

So from the above hadith we see that a young wife is recommended but some conditions are exceptions to the rule.

Personally, I prefer a more mature lady even if she is a little older than me because one of my primary goals in marriage is someone who will give advices when I need to make decisions. And you know that older people are usually wiser and more fore-sighted.
