Checking at gatwick and boarding was done without any hassle
No entertainment (my screen was cracked and all inflight entertainment screens were all turned off (what use is a non-cracked screen, if all the screens were permanently turned off)?
3 male trolley dollies in economy class
2 female trolley dollies in 1st class
Served poundo yam + Egusi soup, Jollof rice and fried rice
The flight was incident free, luggages arrived and departed airport
Plane was a B767 -300ER
Array of drinks available onboard - Usual juice + Alcohol




Medview Review 21/09/2016

Departure - Plane was meant to originally depart @ 1130 hrs. Medview had already sent a text message through, a week before departure that the departure time was now rescheduled for 1330 hrs (phone call and sms communication)
Inflight entertainment - available (but you would have to ask the trolley dollies for earphones(they kept them in their pockets)
15 channels available,only 5 had films) . You also do not have a say in what you want to watch, and how you want to watch……….(My advice, take your entertainment with you)
Trolley dollies in economy class, was an all lady affair (Beautiful ladies feed and watered our whistles)
Array of drinks available onboard - Usual juice + Alcohol
Also ensure your devices are fully topped up (No usb charging ports)
Plane was B767 - 300ER
Meals on offer - Jollof rice (had 5 pieces of beef) &tasted like party rice, fried rice, poundo yam, amala and spaghetti


NB : Medview picks you up and Delivers you safely. That’s the essence of travelling. Not forgetting the difference in price, when compared to other carriers.
You also fly direct (non stop)

Pls for the sake of safety...avoid medview airline.... there service is rubbish and there plane is old...they would delay you for hours...close to 11/12 hrs with no explanation.... I have sworn not to use/fly them again....so many dramas happened to and fro of my trip.

I thought they would be better than arik air....but they are all d same...old flights.... baggage wouldn't be received on time...lots of rubbish they did to me and my family.... I have got videos to back it up.... this happened during my trip to naija on the 14th Dec 2016 first week Jan 2017 on my way back to London...useless airline...

Sorry to hear about your experience. I have flown medview on 6 occasions (3 return trips). And my perception about the service offered on all occasions, is the opposite of your experience.

If only I had the funds to fly during Xmas seasons..... It's sad that you pay excessively to travel and get a less than expensive service.

Sometimes it baffles me why everything about Africa has to be substandard. Medview is a pain, the pain is definitely not worth the difference in price compared to other airlines. I traveled on the 9th of December 2016 and returned on the 30th of December 2016, and I'll advice you not to even think about MedView. I still regret paying so much money to put myself through that ruthless experience. There was an average of 4 hours delay on each trip and you'll be treated like sh*t during the checking in, both in the UK and in Nigeria(worse off in Nigeria as you would expect). Delays without no updates as the cabin crew do not have a clew.

The plane is old and while taking off one of the cupboards opened and a metal bar on wheels rolled out of the cupboard. That could have hurt anyone, but luckily i grabbed it. No entertainment system, that plane definitely needs a facelift.

As for me and my family, no more Medview, no more Arik and any other Nigerian airline. Its not just worth it.

Medview one of the Worst airline in my entire life !!! Save the trouble. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. DELAYED FLIGHTS, missing luggages, no such thing as open return ticket more like when they are ready to take you at an extra cost !!!

On the 26th December our flight was at suppose to leave around 9:45pm from London Gatwick we didn't leave until past 1am. Got to Lagos so late around 7/8am then the wait to receive our luggages ahhh. Some people didn't even get their's until days later.

Fighting, shouting, stressful customers. 0 star rating. Only thing was a safe landing to London Gatwick. I rebuke any plane crash but it is an airline where the worst can be expected. Wow medview u disappointed !! No communication with the passengers just delays upon delays. I stayed an extra week in Nigeria because you said they is no flights back to London. U ruined my trip. Nigeria was so amazing. But the (LOS) airport experience and also (LGW) airport experience was devastating!!!

I didn’t feel safe at all on the flight it was a scare after all the commotion. As soon as the flight took off prayer became from a sister in Christ it definitely calmed us down in believing they is hope. When the plane landed majority clapped in happiness of safe landing. It’s a Cheap flight compared to the norm BA, Virgin, emirate,Air France, etc

Nigeria airport needs to fix up also!!! Seating at the gate E61 with no a/c no awareness of what is going on. Children, families and passages stressed out, hungry and tired. Promise/ paid the price for 32kg bags arrived at airport at informed otherwise now 27kg.

Medview a Nigerian airline where people choose to support a new upcoming Nigerian airline and save expensives but it’s a hell and drama plane. No movie entertainment, amala served on the flight as while as jollof n ofoda rice. Hmmm I never expected it!!!!

Fix up and get sharp. A good investment opportunity this airline needs significant help.

This morning my father calls me from Nigeria to inform me that he's flight today 16th January 2017 at Lagos airport with medview airline is cancelled. He and others are currently at the airport confused n being informed next flight to London is on Wednesday 18th ah but let's see how many out of the 600 passengers get a chance to get on that plane.

Don't get me wrong some people say they had a smooth journey one way but the other way was bad. Or either u experience two trip extremely bad. Or maybe a rarely Lucky person and have two good trip there n back.

I must one of the lucky one's. My check in's at LGW was on time and no drama.
My return flight's from Lagos was delayed by about 3 hours (but I received a text message informing me this changes in advance).
I have had 3 round trips with no issues. All this latest stories are now really sending a chill down my spine.......

No in flight entertainment.
No flight plan, you don't even know where you are at any point in time.
My first international flight with a Nigerian airline and I prayed to God when I arrived back to Uk never to allow me to Use such flight again.
We were 4 in number and thought that it would be fun to use Medview airline.
The first flight were a prayer was said during take off.
Any poverty spirit that would ever push towards any Nigerian airline, I bind you in Jesus name Amen.

Please my future to be Medview passengers, please save yourselves the hassle oh. Reject that spirit and go and fly better airlines and have your peace of mind.

You re right about that. On the 13th jan 2017. My brother's flight was scheduled for 11:30am. When we got to the airport see line. My heart cut, i mean literally i was afraid he was going to miss his flight. See running around, confusion evrrywhere. Finally, we found out that everyone on d'line would board d'plane. 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00 and 2:00 scheduled flight. They left MMIA by 3pm.
But its all good sha

So i did give a flying review for Medview early last year and said I will use them again in December >>Worst Decision Ever<<

Most of the issues have been highlighted already so no need to go into details.

But i know that i will never fly medview/Arik again.

If i am not willing to pay for BA or Virgin to Nigeria, then i am not ready to visit.
