He thinks the rest of the world has the same bizarre short term memory loss that some Nigerians have. The man refused to release power because he found out he was going to be prosecuted for his numerous crimes and human rights violations. His acceptance of defeat wouldn't magically make Gambians forget the children he killed in his 24 years of power.
