but the note 4 SD will begin sales on Monday 23rd they should have considered the mtk version at least for now. I don't think anyone who buys his phone on Monday would immediately want to flash a developer rom without enjoying the phone for at least a week. and since the holidays are close, there won't be any updates till February.

I ended up smashing my redmi note 3 special edition screen yesterday. Anyone knows the Link to purchase the screen? I have searched Aliexpress no tangible line for the special edition.

Very true... It's just the price they pay for getting the snapdragon version.. Not all that glitters is gold..

Noticed they placed a caveat emptor at the end of the nougat update notification, which states upgrade at your own risk..

I was on 8.0.5.0 on my redmi note 3 se. Got an update of 1.2gb yesterday. The update had no description whatsoever which was unusual.

So I went ahead and did the ota update. I was guessing it'll probably take me to 8.1.1.1

To my greatest surprise, after the update, I was still on 8.0.5.0, I was like.. .what da f**k after using 1.2gb data.

The only consolation for me is that battery life has improved tremendously. I now get 1hr SOt for every 10% battery used. Currently my battery is on 60% and I have SOT of 4hrs on 4g network

That to me is enough reason to burn even up to 4gig of data

Yes, you are on edge at this time....

You can select either 3G, 2G, or Lte only.
Go to about phone, tap the internal memory about 5 times, then you will see phone information
Select phone 1 for sim1 and phone 2 for sim 2
Then scroll down to network mode, select wcdma only to get 3G always

Back to your theme.. I cannot even recognise the phone again..

The phone was the first phone I saw speed of 127Mbps on MTN 4G

Battery usage is sorted into 2 categories.. .hardware and apps.

The 58% is for the screen usage out of the overall hardware usage of battery.

Example.. ..

I have used 10% of battery, so my battery indicator shows 90% remaining.

Out of the 10% battery used,, apps used 40% of it, while hardware used 60%. So it's possible that out of the 60% used by hardware, screen took 58% while the rest of the hardware took 2%.
