3 Reasons Why You Should Not Move From Blogger To Wordpress, Yet! by Nobody: 3:36pm On Feb 09, 2017
Have you been wishing to move your blog from Blogger to Self-hosted WordPress precisely? If yes, I recommend you read this post to the end before you do the migrationsmiley
Blogger and WordPress are undoubtedly the big fishes in the ocean of blogging platform despite that there are several others too. And its no myth that there has been case of those who migrate from Blogger to WordPress likewise Vice-versa too.
Not to beat around the bush, i want to share with you Top 3 reasons why you shouldn't move from Blogger to WordPress yet.
.
.
.
#3 - Wrong Reasons of Moving : While it's a good idea to move from one platform to another, it is a decision one must look into critically before embarking on it. For instance; A blogger once moved from Blogger because of the easier WordPress comment box (which i must confess that i also likewink thinking comments will be flooding his site after the migration.
Despite this, he was still receiving little to no comment on the WP Platform not knowing that the mistake lies in the way he treats his blog and NOT from the platform.
.
.
#2 - Cost of Maintenance Level : If you did not have a steady flow of income or a source of income right now that you can use to maintain your Self-hosted WordPress like hosting, increasing bandwidth, etc i would advise you stay on blogger as you only get to pay for your domain name which is ONCE in a YEAR.
If you decide to jump into WordPress without having plans to maintain it, you might find yourself starting what you cannot finish and feeling frustrated when your site goes offline.

#1 - Ain't Ready To Learn New Things (esp something little bit complicated) : The advancement of Technology comes with people researching for new ideas and putting them into action. If you do not like learning new things or just don't want to be in control of something xo complicated then blogger is the best choice for you.
Though you can hire the service of someone to manage your site for you but there would always be a time where you'd need to DIY.

Blogger is still the best. You will not be thinking of paying for hosting and update of template. You only need to renew your domain name.. Like Education Helm Is hosted on blogger platforms.

Yeah, WordPress is a Content Management System but WordPress is of two types. There is one which is at (that one is not owned by you but free) and the other one is at WordPress.org (owned by you but costs)

Did you mean you haven't heard of the blogger platform before? (check it at blogger.com)

Less i forget, i like your dp- the last Airbender
