Good morning everyone, two weeks back I replied CIC after I got their mail that I should explain why I shouldn't be refused visa for misrepresentation( not declaring I have once been refused USA visa) , please for how many weeks or months should I expect them to make decision and get a reply from them? People who have been through such should please advice. Thanks.

Hey house, I have been following this tread for a while and I have learnt a lot. I applied to university of manitoba and saskatchewan and did not get in due to the fact that the program I applied to is competitive. I graduated with 3.85/5 and thought I stood a good chance as it is a second class upper. Still awaiting decision from Alberta but somehow discouraged. Please gurus in the house(Austinpee, Yemdogg and others) do you think it is wise to consider a PGC because it seems that my cgpa is kind of low or are there other schools that can consider it that you know of. I would appreciate your response. Thank you.

Your Cgpa is competitive enough to give you masters. Please shun Pgd/c and look at other less competitive schools. Also put into consideration your SOP, it goes a long way to get you admitted, not just cgpa.

I will repeat, your cgpa is enough to get you admitted.

All the best as you do a thorough school search.

if u are in lagos Go to alagbon police station, PM me to give u a contact person. its just 5k.

Can be as cheap as 3k, but you will have to try or treathen to try multiple persons. However, almost anyone will agree 5k, but likely to start from 10k.

Your program?

I hope you have money for upkeep at least cos chances of full scholarship is low.

Lolzz... This trend of I forgot,I mistakenly is a capital lie .I will only accept the reverse of my statement if only the applicant did not handle the re-application and that whoever handled it, may have failed to ask if he/she had been refused visa while preparing the application. This emerging act is mostly perpetuated by GUYS which I now portray as a purported act by Nigerians, having the mindset to try luck or a VO may be oblivious of such history of the refusal

Still to refresh mindsets,I like attending to study visa related questions which I have made my specialty on this forum than admission issues which I ll have to give kudos to @Thesoj,osemigho,yemdogg,folaroyal,cannyzionist,Austinpee,penin.. et al gurus

@osemigho I studied public administration and want to go for masters in public administration. I have also worked at the bank for 3years. My budget is about 27000CAD per year that is tuition, accommodation and all so I don't necessarily need a scholarship. Please advise.
