So where is the Chukwudi today?
His supposed mates are in Europe and in the Super Eagles making waves. He chose to play with players much younger than him.

No be Kayode, Omeruo, and Onazi dey Super Eagles so? The then midfield maestro Ramon Azeez has also played for the Super Eagles.

He simply peaked at that U17 tourney and that's it.

He thought he was cheating FIFA. Now who has been cheated?

When Chukwudi was held to account, his question was if I remember correctly.

Why me? Am I only one why me

Do you really think he was the only one

That's just football, progression is about ability, opportunity and ability not age necessarily. In reality compared to the exceptional accolades they were awarded golden and silver ball, bronze shoe and Silver shoe. Where have they reached don't forget Neymar, Mario, Mustafa (Arsenal), Coutinho , Isco, Morata, all played in that tournament.

Emmanuel Sani was probably one of the youngest despite winning top goal scorer didn't progress considering his potential.

Where is Omeruah playing he hasn't got anywhere in real terms. Never played for Chelsea in the EPL probably never will. Simply not good enough. Was in the championship but didn't stand out so he left Holland to Turkey that's not progress.

Onazi is the one that has progressed the most don't know how he left Lazio for Turkey, maybe the €€€. Otherwise nobody else has hit the levels we expected of players winning the highest awards in youth football in the world. What is the explanation for that.

Azeez has played mainly in the B team how can you join a team in 2012 and 65% of your games are for the B team that's the equivalent of U23 in the UK. That is not progress. Forgiveness has highlighted this problem of arrangements in team selection.

Na train him go train or na so so selfie him come take for camp.

This substantiats my stand that Rohr and his team have not done thier homework on the availability of Nigerian origin players in the UK. He is way too German /Dutch biased.

When we have to go to Okrika market to find a player from a pub team that is shocking. I gave the name of the Nigerian origin reserve team goal keeper for Burnley FC. To avoid the overwhelming embarrassment.

Don't u always say Anglo-Nigerians can't succeed because of race? Maybe thats why he is still playing pub football.

I didnt say Anglo Nigerians cannot succeed in football I said they face considerably more challenges than thier white team mates and made the comparison to the French league.

But playing pub football in London where the challenges of racism are there but far less pronounced compared to the North of England. Is a sign he is simply not good enough.

Rohr Addresses Eagles Players On Why China Based Eagles Were Excused From Friendly Games

The none inclusion of the China based Super Eagles trio of Brown Ideye, Mikel Obi and Odion Ighalo have been communicated to players of the Super Eagles by coach of the team Gernot Rohr.

The trio were left out of the squad for the upcoming friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso which will take place in London on the 23rd and 27th of March at Barnet’s stadium mostly referred to as The Hive.

There has been speculations about the reason behind their exclusion from the squad but Rohr lifted the lid on the reasons behind their absence, in a chat with the players monitored by Owngoalnigeria.com.

Owngoalnigeria.com correspondent in London reports that Rohr confirmed our story on the reason behind their exclusion, saying they were not included because he wants them to settle down at their new team and environment.

He further revealed to the players that they will however be included in the team for future games, if they maintain their form for their respective Chinese teams.

Rohr Holds Video Analysis Session With Eagles Players, Corrected Flaws Noticed In Win Over Algeria

Despite picking up a 3-1 win over Algeria in their last World Cup 2018 qualifiers, players of the Super Eagles watched and analysed flaws noticed during the course of the morale boosting victory.

Coach Gernot Rohr pointed out areas where the team needs to work on ahead of their next set of competitive games against South Africa and Cameroon respectively.

The coach also made the defenders realised areas where they could have done better as they might be punished by another team, if such is repeated in future games.

Rohr also received inputs from some of the players in the session which Owngoalnigeria.com correspondent alongside others were barred from.

Exclusive – Rohr & Super Eagles Players Watched Past Videos Of Cameroon, Senegal & South Africa

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are exploring all means available to the players and technical crew in their bid to win their upcoming competitive games against South Africa and Cameroon.

Nigeria will take on South Africa in their first 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers before playing back to back games against Cameroon when the World Cup 2018 qualifiers resumes in September.

The Eagles took out time to watch past games of the Cameroon senior national team and South Africa alongside their coaches, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

cool down my brother. Even Ronaldo (who I am a fan of) has a good number of penalties in his goals tally. I've not denied Odey's quality. It's in your head that i'm trying to run him down. There were two games in the NPFL yesterday. I didn't just make that statement from the outcome of the MFM game alone. Besides I did not see what led to the awarded penalties.

The context remains I was making my submission from Odey's account on CF digital copy. some people will also agree with me, as much as some disagree. The age cheat argument will always be an issue in our football, especially with players who did not go through the ranks of the U17 category. Not saying the MRI is accurate anyway.

BascoVanVeli:

Funny that u care less but u take time to write out this speech. Did i tell u to shut up, or that u are stoopid? I made a comment which i am well within my right to do, so stop being a cry baby. Just like u can make any post u want, I can also counter ur opinion if i want. I didn't tell u that u just like to type or tell u to ignore my post if u don't like it. Lets do this like adults, this is football talk. My problem is why now? Why try to scandal the boy's name while he is on the rise. U posted that he scored 2 goals yesterday but u also made sure u let us know they were penalties with an lol. U then said the NPFL sucked and got into calling Odey an age cheat.

Ikeme Out, Ezenwa Favoured To Start Despite Akpeyi’s Arrival For Senegal Clash

The goalkepper crisis rocking the Super Eagles of Nigeria is no longer an issue following the arrival of two of the invited goalkeppers ahead of tonight’s clash against Senegal.

First choice goalkepper Carl Ikeme has been ruled out of the game through illness, and following doubts about the arrival of other invited goalkeppers Peckham Town shot stopper Tope David Okeowo was hurriedly drafted in by coach Gernot Rohr as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com.

However the two invited goalkeppers Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi both arrived the team camp, with Ezenwa arriving last night while Akpeyi breezed into the team’s London camp few hours ago.

Ezenwa is highly favoured to start in goal, with Akpeyi likely to be his deputy as he battles to recover from jet lag following his trip from South Africa to London.

Reports has it that Okeowo stands an outside chance of sitting on the bench as well.

The decision on who will man Nigeria’s goal against the Teranga Lions will be taken by the technical crew, during the team’s meeting later in the day where the starting line up will be revealed by coach Rohr.

Etebo Arrives London But Unlikely To Face Senegal In Front Of Leicester City Scouts

Super Eagles and CD Feirense of Portugal midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has arrived the camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead tonight’s friendly game against Senegal.

Etebo arrived London in the early hours of this morning, no thanks to visa hitch which delayed his departure from his base in Portugal.

His arrival will no doubt gladden the heart of Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, but he may likely not hand the highly rated forward a start as he missed all of the training session of the team in the build up to the game.

Already English Premier League champions Leicester City have posted scouts to watch the 22 year old, who is heavily tipped to depart newly promoted CD Feirense this summer.

Leicester City scouts will most likely wait till Monday to see him in action against Burkina Faso, as Rohr is yet to make up his mind about playing the forward in tonight’s game.

Why Latest “Oyibo” Sarenren Bazee Won’t Make Super Eagles Debut Against Senegal

Newly called up Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Noah Joel Sarenren Bazee is a major doubt for today’s friendly game against the Teranga Lions of Senegal.

Bazee is yet to take part in full training since arriving the camp of the team, as Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively report that the 20 year old missed training yesterday again.

He missed their first session alongside goalkepper Carl Ikeme, but while Ikeme has been ruled out due to illness, Bazee also appears to be ruled out of the game as well.

The German-Nigerian forward is reportedly recovering from a knock he suffered during Hannover 96 game over the weekend, and could have his Super Eagles debut delayed until on Monday when they play Senegal in their second friendly game in London.

Training Scoops – Iheanacho Lethal, Ndidi Will Captain Eagles Soon, Ogu Fittest Eagle, Ebuehi Very Good On The Ball

Owngoalnigeria.com Michael James who has been covering the Super Eagles training session has given his report about yesterday’s session, which was their ahead of tonight’s game against Senegal.

In yesterday’s session John Ogu’s fitness was very clear to see as the Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder performed all the drills assigned to them by coach Rohr with ease, and also gave a good impression during a practice game.

Leicester City Wilfred Ndidi did expeceptionally well driving the team he played for during the session with ease, He also displayed some leadership qualities as he was constantly barking out instructions to his teammates in the middle with him.

Newbie Tyroone Ebuehi has a very calming influence when in possession, and loves to take on his man as opposed to most full backs who are mostly looking for a pass even when they can venture forward.

Kelechi Iheanacho runs behind defenders and finishing prowess was also very much noticed. The Manchester City forward was a thorn in the flesh of the players he was up against with some nice piece of skills, flicks and clever turn.

Iheanacho Shines In Super Eagles Training Despite Lack Of Game Time At Man City

Kelechi Iheanacho’s lack of game time at Manchester City appears to have little or no effect on his fitness level as he has been one of the fittest player in the Super Eagles training.

Iheanacho has been struggling to get games at the Etihad since the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, a situation that didn’t change much even after the Brazilian picked up an injury that ruled him out for three months.

However, his fitness and sharpness has been one of the highlight of the Super Eagles training session with the forward clearly distinguishing himself in yesterday’s session.

The forward took on the defenders who were up against him with ease, with his combination with Arsenal star Alex Iwobi particularly eye catching with the way they linked up with each other.

He is set to lead the Eagles attack in tonight’s friendly game against Senegal at Barnet’s stadium The Hive by 8pm Nigerian time.

Brown Ideye Wishes Super Eagles All The Best Ahead Of Showdown Vs Senegal

Tianjin Teda striker Brown Ideye does not bear any grudges over his non-invitation to the national team and has wished his Super Eagles teammates all the best when they tackle Senegal and Burkina Faso in London.

About the same time the Nigeria Football Federation announced a 25-man roster for both games at the Hive Stadium, the ex-West Brom player was completing his move from Olympiakos to Tianjin Teda, so was left out of the squad list.

“Good luck to the Super Eagles in the two friendly games that is coming up, all the Best guys. ” Ideye tweeted.

The 28-year-old Ideye has racked up 28 caps for the Super Eagles since debuting in 2010, and has six goals to his name.

This is the first time he has not been called up for international duty since the appointment of Gernot Rohr as coach.

GK Daniel Akpeyi To The Rescue : Lands In London, Going Through Immigration

Chippa United star Daniel Akpeyi has just landed in London, ahead of Thursday evening’s international friendly between Nigeria and Senegal,
allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

As at 0733 hours local time, the goalkeeper was going through immigration, before joining the Super Eagles squad at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

It should be noted that Daniel Akpeyi is not in London to make up the numbers as there are question marks surrounding the availability of first-choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, who suddenly fell ill.

The South African based netminder was in between the pipes in the Super Eagles last match, a World Cup qualifier against Algeria in Uyo in November 2016.

The encounter between Nigeria and Senegal will kickoff at the Hive Stadium at 2000 hours.

Sorry to burst the Bubble but, NONE OF THEM IS MAKING WAVES IN EUROPE AT ALL.

Let me start with yr last paragraph. Pls how many Nigerian players or ex-junior internationals are making waves in Europe over-all.

Talking about Ramon Azeez.
I loved that guy that year when he played U17. He was my favorite in that team.

But, i think same thing that affected the mercurial Rabiu Ibrahim has affected him too. So much potential as a teenager but their game level refused to move up after being kick started.
In that 2014 that u made reference to I personally never saw Ramon as a player that could add value to that midfield.

People were saying he was the best natural midfielder Nigeria had then. A player that has never been capped? I kept asking the question "how can you be adjudged to be the best when u have not yet been tested"?

By and Large, I dnt agree it was an 'arrangement' as you put it. People who called for his inclusion had a genuine case as he was playing regular football for Almeria for a couple of months leading to that world cup.
I thought other-wise bc i dnt easily trust untested players.
That same forgiveness you are making reference to on 'arrangement problem' was at the fore front of the call for Ramon Azeez.

Like for today's game i would not start a player like Ebuehi.

Westminster Terror Attack : NFF Request Super Eagles To Wear Black Armbands Vs Senegal

The Super Eagles are expected to wear black armbands tonight when they tackle Senegal in an international friendly in honour of those killed in a terror attack outside the UK Parliament on Wednesday.

London Police say five people, including the attacker, were killed after a car ploughed into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge in London.

The Nigeria Football Federation stated viaTwitter: “We ’ve proposed to organizers of today’s friendly vs Senegal, that our players wear black bands & observe a minute silence for #Westminster”.

Westminster Bridge is 12.3 miles away from the Hive Stadium, the venue of Thursday’s clash between the West African powerhouses.

The England national team did not wear black armbands in Wednesday’s 1-0 loss to Germany in a friendly in Dortmund, but the FA say they will pay tribute to the victims in their home game versus Lithuania on Sunday.
