Thanks to everyone, I got a positive outcome from EA today.

I need some clarifications on filling the EOI.
Does including a family member in an application limit his/her chances?

Yes and no..

You have to proof they are dependent on you else you lose out.

If anyone of them fails medical, you all will be taken as failed. They don't separate family.

Even if it takes months, I will still say happy birthday to you, my correct In-law Mamajaz.

May God grant you your heart desires in this new age. May your life be made more meaningful and may your next English proficiency exam excel the previous ones and the points you will ever require. Long life and good health.
Haaaaaaa.... my in-law, you are blessed sir.

[quote author=martinoonline post=55208122]Hello e-family....I'm so happy to have just got my 476 grant, thanks to Bellong and you all wonderful people.

I'm still trying to lodge an application for 189 before making any move and I have some issues abeg.

I couldn't find my Msc course on the SOL, however I was able to find my BEng (Materials Engr) on the SOL. Can I go ahead to pick Materials Engr? I do not have any cognate experience in this area apart from my 6 months IT and some project works, though I've learnt that EA can assess one even without experience.

Another worry is my observation from the Anzsco website on this my occupation choice.
From attached image, Anzsco wrote that the occupation is not eligible for 189, and this is the case for almost all engineering occupations that I checked on the Anzsco website eventhough they're currently available on the DIBP SOL list. Or did I misunderstand the Anzsco site?

Please help....
@bellong
@jukeblam
@anyone who has gotten positive EA assessment

Thanks everyone! congrats on your grant. please can you kindly explain 476 to me, does it require point like 189 and I90.i will like to know because this pte 20point no easy o.

Ok guys, I got a positive outcome from EA today and I've just lodged my EOI for Telecoms on 60 points. Hopefully that will be good enough for the draw next week. I wish to thank all the ogas in the house for guidance. Some of us are usually quietly reading the discussion. You guys rock. Please my ogas in the house, i need help with the list of required docs for the visa. My former employer didn't remit tax for some years and I'm concerned about that.

Hello Guys,

Please I am about to apply for ACS assessment and I need clarifications on TRANSCRIPT.

1. Is there an address the transcript must be addressed to?

2. Is there anyone from LAUTECH in the group, how did you get a copy of your transcript as I read online that it can only be sent to an institution?

Please I need urgent help

cc: Bellong
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by greeneophyte: 12:48pm On Apr 03, 2017
@Dewys Have you heard of www.etx-ng.com. You can apply through them and get an electronic copy which you will then print, notarize, scan and upload to ACS. But etx can sometimes waste time. So you have to follow up closely.

2.5 months, could take less if you upload all required documents. I was contacted by a CO for an additional document.

For ACS, you can use it... Photocopy it and get it certified at the federal high court

476 is an engineering graduate visa which is valid for 18 months, so it's not a PR visa like 189.
You need to have an engr degree from a country signatory to the 'Washington Accord'. In addition, you need to have graduated in the last two years, you should be less than 31, and also have at least 6.0 in IELTS.
These are the basic requirements, you can as well read up more on the DIBP website.

Please my people, I'm currently filling the EOI. They are asking for the Reference Number/Receipt number for the skill assessment. EA didn't put any refence number on the assessment outcome and the receipt has many numbers on it. Please anybody that has gone through this stage should please help.

You can just put an address that you have access to where you can pick the transcript.
Just remove the cover letter and photocopy the main transcript for certification before scanning it.
I must say that there is problem presently with the transcript, its taking longer than usual.
Just apply online and let me know when its done.

What really matter is your job description and not the job title. Your JD and qualification is what matter.

You can. Just remove the cover letter. Don't have to put it. The main thing is the transcript itself. I used the the one I collected in 2009. I have a scan copy of it.

There is no fix timeline. It depend on individual cases and the assign case officer. Mine took 10 days and I have seen some that is more than 100days.
