please be guided, that you have only seen black buffalo does not mean that Brown bufallo does not exist. There are different species of buffaloes, typically brown specie and the black species.

He will be better off if he can manage and domesticate them,instead of killing them. Wild animals like could be tamed and still partially retain their wildness.

While I may not be able to give you a definite answer on that, one thing I know for sure is Edo has one of the most diverse wildlife population in Nigeria

Buffalos are rare in Edo forests too. But thing is, this man did not break any law. What we need is laws to protect our wildlife.

Well, that's surprising considering Buffalos aren't that rare or expensive. In fact, there are private owners.
