Please, pertaining to the request letter, does it have a particular format? Also can you walk up to any company, school or ministry and ask you want to serve there if you are sure of your posting to the state. Will you also be given your state allowance if you are posted there. I would like to get a request letter from a company in Ajah, Lagos. How possible is it?

I was told it's usually not that easy especially if it has to do with private companies in Lagos. They sort of favour public ministries and schools (private or public) when it comes to requesting for posting.
Your allawee would be paid irrespective of whether the organization where you are posted to pays you or not.
Yes you are free to walk up to any place. Na wetin u get for mouth go determine whether dem go fit assist you.
Lastly, there's a format for writing the request letter.

Firstly, most times water is pumped in the morning, nd if it finishes, that might be all till evening. Secondly, the schedule in camp might be so tight you may not have time for yourself. But dnt get me wrong, u can bathe anytime u are free to.

I think the first thing you should do is to work your deployment to Ogun state. So, at camp, you can tender the letter from the company to the NYSC officials in charge of posting. Tell them you want to serve there, expedite actions and I believe your posting there would not slip.

Take it to camp. You can either submit it to the head of registration and mobilisation, head of ict, camp director or the state coordinator.

At some point I didn't deem it necessary to ask however it is of paramount importance and interest to me. My question is this= I have two waec results one date of birth is incorrect while the other is correct. The correct one is what I saw in my dashboard. pls hope I won't have problem in camp with this kind of situation. two

I think you should take it one step at a time. I want to believe you've secured a job. If you haven't you should start working on it. I got a format from NL some months back. Just Google it & include NL while googling. By the way you don't need to tell them. As soon as you inform them about the request letter, they'll then ask you to either go compose it yourself or not worry.

Deducing from some of what you wrote i guess we're both sailing on the same boat. Did you choose Lagos?
