We really need to stop pretending about being disgusted. Sympathetic because of some injuries? Yes, disgusted? It sounds rehearsed and played out.

Another thing that needs to be shelved is that notion that with Parker and Kawhi Spurs don't get swept. Parker was Shyte all regular season and there is only so much Kawhi can do.

It is not the sweeps that makes the playoffs uninteresting but this feigned feeling that we don't need to predict who will get to the finals. The reality is, for years on in, many have been deciding which teams will get to the finals and have been right.

I did not see these sweeps before the playoffs began. Heck, many predicted Cavs would go 12-7 before the finals (myself included). We were wrong but it did not take the joy out of watching them until they got heavily mismatched against the Celts. After all, they swept the Pacers but the series was watchable.

Cmon Bro, we would win the series, yes but definitely not sweep or won game 1 vs Spurs. And the East teams not even trying also makes it disgusting to watch. It has been a difficult to watch. Largely because opponents aren't doing enough. I know my feelings, it's disgust not sympathetic. Maybe you've been enjoying this playoffs but I'm very sure so many would prefer watching something else.

Remember I challenged someone on here who said we would sweep them. I did not expect it too so I have not made any claims. All I am saying is "we would never know". We played a full strength OKC team last year and we still beat them. We were 3-1 up against a full Cavs team as well yet we ended up not winning. These things could go either ways.

I don't watch Cavs games anymore. The last game I saw was against Raptors game 1. I saw the first half of game 1 against Celts but did not waste my time any more but I don't blame Cavs per se for it. I actually blame the Wizards for losing game 7 when they would have matched up better.

Anyways make we forget story. Abeg, are you seeing the way Curry got manhandled yesterday without the refs blowing a damn whistle? It was so frustrating. What pains me the most is the cosmetic fouls they now call against him. People say our team is making the playoffs boring but the refs are making some away games closer than they should be. Jesus! If they let Cavs do this again Silver will choke on his Glasses.

The press conference lasted one minute and he was asked just one question. You need to see the disgust on my face after the Celtics lost and Cavs fans were everywhere all wànking. Even the players were stupid as hell. Up by 41 half time and you still kept trying to add more. We all know there's no way Warriors would've swept if Parker and Kawhi was healthy too. But Damn, I'm disgusted. The league is disgusted, sane media is disgusted, mature fans are disgusted. The whole post season just sucks as hell. Players needs to step up individually, teams needs to cultivate winning habits. Free agency is quite controversial with players making really big league changing moves but these won't really mean if other players step up their game individually and teams do the same. See teams like Orlando, Brooklyn Nets, Sacramento, Knicks are just there to fill the board, no plans, no improvement names.

Maybe if IT had shut his mouth up, Cavs wouldn't be so brutal.

They are not letting him off the hook from the lottery pick. People questioning if Celtics and Lakers getting top pick was for ratings. I hope we come through this finals so Silver doesn't have to pull a game 4 LeBron shoves Curry leading to Curry fouling out or game 5 LeBron snitch leading to that suspension.
I don't expect the calls to change. The league is always on Brons side.

Let us seperate some facts from myths. Lebron is the best player in the NBA? Yes. It is not even close? Myth.

Y'all relaxed during the regular season because you could afford to. Trust me, Lebron cannot play Pop with Spurs having home court advantage. Besides your win % would have placed y'all like 5th in our conference and the matchups may not favor you guys.

Nobody was saying the Wiz would beat you guys but they at least match up better. After all,why does it appear that Raptors and The Celts are ostensibly easier than The Pacers were? It is because of the matchups. Lebron had to think about PG13 but against Celts they have no one that can match him heightwise and with the shooting prowess of the Pacers talisman.

I thought I was the only one who thought it conveniently curios that both got top picks in the draft. Anyways he deserves the heat.

Mehn, the Curry thing is troubling me because that is exactly what Cavs will do. They did it games 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 and that Dec game as well. Jesus, if SC gets the calls Kawhi gets he would average 30+ on 12 shots per game. #Word

I would complain less if he wasn't racking up touch fouls for doing nothing but play good D. See what Dedmon tried to do to him yesterday and the refs unlooked.

I thought I was the only one who paid that much attention to the detail especially on the 3rd foul. But let's see.. Hopefully the calls would be fair especially that gruesome pick and roll the Cavs usually put Curry in like last playoffs.

How can a basketball head like you fall for 2 and a half quarters of abysmal GSW bball compared to spotless Spurs ball?

That pick and roll they keep referring to was not Curry's issue. I wonder why many pundits are just regurgitating the same armchair narrative. Even if Iggy is matched with Lebron or Kyrie you cannot completely shut them down as they are elite iso players. Curry's issue was all the shoving and pushing he was receiving on one end and then if he even as much as attempts to play good D refs blow and foul him. It was pathetic.

If the refs will just blow consistently when he is shoved to deter them, lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Tough is relative.

For the fact that Cavs is doing the Bayern of Eastern Conference doesn't rule out the conference. Afterall, they didn't get up to 60 wins, Warriors did. They didn't win 1st seed, you guys did.

We've all seen plenty teams in EC finals unlike West where it's either Spurs or Warriors for the past hundreds of years.

We also see more teams battling for playoff spot at the EC unlike the west. More teams are represented in the east. A large fraction of the years has seen the East having more .50 teams.

We also see less blowouts, less wins in the EC

We also watch more playoff games in the east before the finals, even this year with Cavs sweeping everybody.

You also lose your key players and still dominate teams. Look at Rockets, so called 3rd best team in the league or Warriors that went on a 13-0 run without Durant. That can't happen in the east, it gets tougher to adjust cos more competitive teams are looking to take your position e.g. Cavs when Love went out, Raptors when Lowry went out, Bulls when Rondo went out, etc.

So yeah, tough is relative

Dynamics change every game. I can as well ask if Durant and Iguodala got hurt at the same time against a fully stacked Spurs, will the Warriors go 3-0 up? Lol

Remember, you used Bogut's injury as one of the reasons to give up a 3-1 lead; and a Draymond's game 5 absence. Why are you suddenly giving your Warriors all the credit?

Cavs that avoided the 1st seed knowingly to avoid Miami or Bulls due to match up problems? Or gave up home advantage knowing they will still cruise in the East?
Or Cavs that rested big 3s so many games and not cared about 1st seed?
We can talk when any team in the West don't care about home advantage or if you believe the Cavs can afford to pull those useless stunts and rest in the West and still be top 4.

Because after KD went down to Gortat at Washington I feared we may not get it past Round 1 of the playoffs. Then pundits started saying the same thing - "they need him. They don't get past Round 2 without him"

16-1 (and that 1 was even with him). Including those back to back games where we came from 22pts against them at their home, without KD.

So yea, we can beat them indisputably, comfortably and any other adjective even without KD and Iggy.

Also, Spurs conceded 2 games to Memphis and Rockets (without Kawhi). Surely, we are substantially better than those teams.

Even if Cavs keyed into this your "conspiracy theory" and did not rest players, would they still reach 60wins like Warriors and Spurs?

The East has more above average teams there while West has the bigs stampeding on the small ones. Blowouts and resting players in the 4th quarter are the order of the day

I've won bets largely from Western conference matchups. Those East games don finish my tears.

That team of last year is not this one. We relied on 3ball & Harrison Barnes and we did not have Javale McGee. Iggy was having back spasms etc. That is why hypotheticals don't work.

When we played Portland I did not expect a sweep neither did I expect one from Jazz but the fact remains, in our 16 win run, we beat both Memphis and Rockets (2 Times) without KD this is an aside from the fact that we beat Spurs 3times last season without him too.

Now we can back up to Mark's time and remember we took them to 6 without Draymond. In fact that game 1 in their home was a 2pt loss. And we stole the game 2. So if that ineffective team could steal 2 games from the almighty Spurs why is it hard for me to assume that down 23 in my home even with their star player would not have been a rock solid L. The narrative does not gel.

Pacers led Cavs by 25 going into the 3rd Q when PG13 was on fire but they still lost that game. If PG13 had gotten injured by the beginning of the 3rd Q the narrative would have been that Cavs won that game because he went out but it does not necessarily work like that.

Harden was outplaying Kawhi in the series until game 5 that he fumbled in the OT and cost his team the lead. I have mad respect for Pop and what he has achieved with the Spurs but that OKC win against them last time was a chink in his armour.

The 6th seed Grizzlies and Rockets would take 2 games from Spurs or Golden state when healthy but the 1st seed Celtics or Raptors can't even take one from the Cavs.. And yet you say the East is tough. I'm guessing the Cavs are just too good but the Spurs and the Warriors are too poor in the West.. Continue with the double edge sword. You'll always win

Curry actually leads the league in FG percentage when driving to the rim in the regular season so I'm not understanding your point.

Golden State changed the game, the revolutionized the game, now everyone plays defense from half court more than before and if you want to know, the Rockets shoot more 3s, the Cavs attempts more 3s than the Warriors. And yes it's a good thing if everybody wants to shoot more 3s. And please don't tell people Warriors made basketball bad by using that point.

Nice touch with the Bayern example. I would point out though that the Cavs were under .500 against teams from the West. They lost to every single team that made the playoffs out West. Now imagine they had to face these guys 4 times a year. Now compare with the Warriors vs teams from the East. Even that 13-0 run you are referring to also included teams from the East

Since 2011 Mavs, Grizzlies, Rockets, OKC are all teams that have made the Conference Finals apart from Warriors and Spurs. I'm sure if we go to the East the variety isn't higher.

This is the 2nd Eastern Finals heading for a sweep in 3 seasons. Whereas you and I know the Warriors are not sweeping the Spurs if not for Kawhi's injury.

The West is tougher and its not that close. Isu no be cocoyam
