I thought I gave a very precise reason why I vehemently think the portal for data correction will be re-opened soon on page 70 of the thread.

It has always been an habitual thing for JAMB since time immemorial to allow for data correction after the conduct of UTME.

Honestly..This year cant be an exemption.

Using last year's model, Your jamb has given you 27.25 points. You need additional 22.75 from your o'level to meet the cutoff for Political science (WHICH IS ALSO THE SAME CUTOFF FOR PHILOSOPHY) 50.00
since you're awaiting Your neco results, i calculated in advance.. Minimum of C4 in all ur 5 required subjects will give you 25 points.. Which totals 52.25
so, if u can achieve a minimum of that, you're assured of a spot in the list.
About competitiveness, i'm not an art student but i think one isnt more competitive than the other.(i stand to be corrected tho). So far they had d same cutoff last year.
So bro, on the side of reality, you can gain admission to any of the two.

From childhood, Political science was my dream course. 2geda with International relations. I had my personal compendium of maps drawn by myself and could mention about 100 countries of the world with their capitals. Alas, I couldnt cope with Art class so i had to stay in the Sciences to develop love for clinicals.

But don't be suprised if i become my state governor tomorrow.

Look, career choice works the same way as marriage choice.
If you settle down for what you do not love naturally, your joy might never be full and when regrets start coming in, you might not be strong enough to handle it.

My policy- "Never look back until you reach your goal".
