Good Morning guys,

Please I need everybody's help. I applied for my study permit with a conditional letter of acceptance (condition was getting my trv bfr July 15th) the school just sent me a mail cancelling my application with a caveat of offering me another seat as soon as I get my trv if there are available spaces left. There is also no option of deferral. I just checked CIC's website and I cannot change my DLI unless I'm enrolled in an institution. Please do you think this cancellation will affect my application .

P.s i have sent several mails to the school stating that my trv application is still within processing time so I should get a postponement on this decision but they are yet to reply. I also have another admission from another college which i deferred till January i want to know if i can change my DLI after I get my trv since i already applied with the aforementioned school.

@Austinpee4 , @Osemigho @canadiannurse pls help
If the cancellation will affect your application? no it will not. If this condition and date was written on the offer letter you applied with, be rest assured IRCC will certainly request for a new offer letter before finalizing your application.

Regarding changing your DLI, being enrolled and actively pursing your studies is a condition on a study permit. So if you intend to change DLI, you must meet this condition. Here is a good way to this in your case. Once your application is approved, you can enroll( pay fees, register for courses etc) in the school with the January start, notify IRCC of change in DLI, get to Canada, show CBSA officers the proof of enrollment at the point of entry. This will meet this condition on the study permit. Both colleges and programs are at the same level of educatin, post-secondary, so you don't have to worry about that.

All the same, I still suggest you appeal to your school to give you a new offer letter with a new start date because if the condition is on your offer letter, the embassy will request a new start date.

Regards. Ma'am.

So as a researcher concerned
CALASTU is basically online apps being handled in Nigeria and they are still handling March and April

HANSTU are paper apps and they are rounding up may applicant's.

Hmmmmmm

So I can like to draw up a conclusion from my findings that online apps takes longer basically.

Like I said am just a researcher.

Question? if I want to send a mail to cic those that mean I have to send it to Lagos cic email or the Accra own?....

Fill in your total cost of studies under *Tuition*
You can fill in 10kCAD beneath *Room and Board*
Then other expenses you'll make during course of your study (Anything beneath *Other*)

Please I need help from everyone

Please forgive me as my question is not directly related to this trend but somehow related.

Am not in Nigeria presently and I want to open GTbank domiciliary account (I have naira account with GTbank )
To finalise the opening of the domiciliary account, the Bank has sent me forms to fill and send it bank to them.

My worries

With this era of no dollars and limitation to dollar transactions , is it advisable to proceed with the process?

My questions

Is there limitation to online transfer/payment and withdrawal on GTbank domiciliary account?

Is there any excessive deduction on domiciliary account whether after I open the account or each transaction I make?

Can I get all my dollars from the account especially if I want to pay for my tuition fees?

Please I need adequate information about the Gtbank domiciliary account.

Thank you so much for your help.

Its your choice... But then i think Room and Board should be btwn 10kCad and above as required by CIC for your living expenses (accommodation and feeding)......Well do more to be informed, just my thoughts!
Cheers

what is the lowest amount to travel any Europe to disverging my passport

thesoj:
In order to benefit others (and for other gurus to fact-check my answers), please ask your question(s) on here.
Also, due to time constraints I am unable to respond to most PMs at this time.

Do you have travel history to any OECD country (basically any country in western Europe, North America, Japan, Australia, etc)?
If so, then why not just get an unconditional admission and then apply directly for a student visa?
Why do you want to go the route of applying for a visit visa to see your brother as a path to getting a study permit?
Are you certain that it'd be easier to obtain for a visit visa to see your brother?
What is your current activity and when did you finish your last level of education?

Answering these questions may make it easier to help. If you've already answered these questions in the past, please paste the link here and I'll provide any additional thoughts. Thanks!

Hello,

I actually got to know this thread since last year, but I was a silent observer. I finally tried to post comments and ask questions around may before my application for trv but couldn't, due to login issues. I had to apply like that when I couldn't ask my questions and fortunately with a little help from friends and great help from God my trv was approved. I don't know if I count among the monikers you spoke of in the above comment, but these are my details.

University of British Columbia- applied December 7th 2016, admission march 30th 2017, Trv applications paper route with upfront medicals- may 26th 2017, approved July 7th.

This thread really helped a lot and gave me hope through it all, especially that motto "it shall end in praise, I kept declaring it. I really wish everyone the best and I pray that God turns all tears to great jubilation and laughter.

hello please did you write GRE for the masters programme
